Here are some things that helped my baby...she was very "colicky" for the first month and a half, now she is a happy 4 month old and we are MUCH happier parents LOL. A lot of times colic is caused by an underlying problem that isn't obvious unless you really look into it. That's how we discovered my little girl's allergy to milk and soy. Once we changed her over to the hypoallergenic formula, changed her bottle and started swaddling her CORRECTLY with the miracle blanket, she become a completely different baby within days. Good luck to you and I hope this helps :)

Try switching her formula. My bub was the same way and it was cuz of the formula. A lot of babies can't take iron. I know everyone is going to get on me about this because babies need Iron for their brain development. But after bub is born, they have enough iron, from being in your womb, to last them until they are 6 months old, is what I read. I had to put my bub on Low Iron Formula by Similac and it worked wonders. My bub also has acid reflux and I have her on Baby Zantac. She is doing really good. Try laying her face down along your fore-arm, have her arms and legs dangeling and pat her back while slowly rocking her back and fourth. My baby loved that. Keep her away from a bunch of people that just want to soothe her and keep passing her around. That will make it worse! Trust me! I know everyone just wants to help, but bub only wants you and you only to comfort her right now! Tell everyone to back off! Try Mylecon Gas Drops too. Those did really good until I got my bub on her meds. Good luck and I know what you are going through. It will get better. I promise. I went through it for about 4 weeks. It's gotten so much better and I didn't think it would ever end. It will. Try not to get too depressed. Baby can sense that. She needs to know that you aren't freaking out and everything is o.k. Give her that reassurance.

Was she diagnosed chollic by a doctor? If not, she may only be suffering from gas. try mylicon drops. try to burp more frequently. I've also found that making formula with chamomile tea instead of water helps keep the formula from hurting their tummies so much, and aids them in digesting.
all baby's are different, but by 4 mos old it usually passes. My second was chollicy, I switched from supplimented breastfeeding to strictly breast feeding and it went away. But I was also chollicy and my mother couldn't breast feed, so I suffered through it until I was about 14 weeks.
The Jamaicans give marajuana tea as a cure, but we're not allowed to do that here.
Sorry She's suffering.

It might be too early for colic. Most likely at this age it is gas, which can be very painful for an infant. You can help relieve it with a little pressure on her belly (with a pillow or your leg - lean her on her tummy and pat her gently on the back).
However, if it is colic, it's theoretically supposed to resolve by 12 weeks old. Good luck, and I hope for your sake that it's NOT colic!
