My baby loves her swing and she may be reaching the weight limit what can I do to replace this? She cried alot on a recent vacation because we could not take the swing on a plane.

Funny, I JUST asked a similar question... I know how you feel. My son LOVES his swing, and he's 6 months, getting too big! I think that once they outgrow it, it's time to move to the crib, and that thought freaks me out. But check this out- - I don't know the weight limit for this product, but a reader sent me this link:

It's totally scary, though, it's like a crutch we've relied on is disappearing, time for another hurdle. Good luck!

I had one of the jumparoos. they are a little expensive the are stationary and about $60 but they are worth the money the cheaper one is like $20 and it hang in the door way.. my kid loved it!! you could also get one of the outside baby swings and put it up in the house just hang it from the cieling.

Try an exersaucer. They are great and i think babies at six months need to me out of the swing anyways. they need more room to move and not to just be sittin in a swing.

What is the weight limit for your swing??-- My son is 9 months & he is still using his swing.

but anyway........

Try placing the baby in the crib, playpen, exersaucer, walker, on the floor, on your lap, let her play w/ toys, etc. There are so many items out there for babies:)

Time for her to move on to the next stage in her life. Put her on the floor more so she can learn to roll and crawl and she will not want the swing !!

Try a jumper. One of those stationary ones with the toys all around and the seat that swivels, both my girls had one and they LOVED them.
