I am 7 months pregnant with twins and it's my first time. Since it's twins, I might have to go in early for delivery. Can anyone tell me what all I am supposed to pack in the bag? For example, how many clothes do I have to pack for my babies and what other stuff for myself and the babies do I have to take?

Robe
Pajamas
Panties
Maxi pads
Hairbow/Brush
Socks
House slippers
Comfy outfit to wear home (Sweats)
**They will give you toothpaste, soap, deodrant, lotion, baby wipes, diapers, bottles, recieving blankets, and formula at the hospital**

Take 2 outfits for the baby pictures
Socks
Large warm blankets (If it is cold where u are)
Onesies
Their Baby book (So they can stamp their footprints in the book)
Carseats
Camera's
They will most likely give you a diaper bag at the hospital.

While you are there stock up each time they bring the babies in there with diapers and wipes.

Good luck and Congrats

I would pack whatever you are comfortable sleeping in--even if it is not a nightgown. If this means mens boxers or cotton pants and a t-shirt then do that. Take about 3 sets. One robe should do it. Unless you have a visitor you do not need one, or can wear an open patient gown. buy like 10 pair of granny panties. They will get stained up and stuff, and you want to have enough so you don;t have to be constantly be doing laundry. I would get 2-3 boxes of pads to start off with. get the always infinity overnight pads. They are really thin and the moisture is drawn away from your skin. Definately DO NOT get anything that does not have wings. Bring a pretty outfit for the hospital picture, but something comfy for her wear home. I think a sleeper or something like that. Make sure you bring some baby wipes. Most of the time the hospital staff tells you to clean messy diapers with wet gauze, but it just does not cut it for the really nasty first diapers. After #1 I always brought my own stash.. You could also bring something to keep you occupied during labor and while the baby is sleeping. I brought a few paperback books.

Congratulations!
Hmmmm, let me see. When I was pregnant, I prepared a few clothes for myself and of course some underwear. Do not forget those. I suggest you pack some dress practical for breastfeeding ( I believe most hospitals tell you to breastfeed.)However, if you can't breastfeed, I suggest you pack some loose dresses or something you would be comfortable wearing whether you have a normal delivery or a section. As for your babies, do not forget baby blankets, baby towels, some cloth diapers for emergency and diapers of course, baby soap and shampoo. It would be best to get a shampoo that could also be used as a body soap. Do not forget cotton buds too and maybe baby alcohol and baby oil. Ohh as for the baby dresses, bring 4 sets for each of your babies. I assume you will have your hubby with you or someone so they can bring home the soiled clothes and bring some fresh ones back. All in all, aside from what you will bring to the hospital, you should also prepare some more at home.

You should only need one outfit for the babies (They usually stay in a baby gown while at the hospital) ummmm... Slippers, Pj's, Toothbrush and paste, brush, hair tie, Shower stuff. outfit to go home, a book, a pen for filling out forms, If your going vaginally you may want to bring some of your own pads (the hospital ones are HUGE) Good Luck. Oh and dont forget the most important thing A camera.

I'll try to remember everything that was in my bag.
A "coming home outfit" for baby...and for yourself.
socks
toothbrush
hair brush
shampoo
toothpaste
camera
a book
insurance cards, papers etc.
don't worry about clothes for the babies while there in the hospital, the hospital will provide that, and any diapers or formula needed.
I'm sure that's not it,but that's the basics...make sure you have a camera if you want pictures, I almost forgot mine

ooohhhhh...and plenty of change for the snack and drink machines.

You only have to pack a take home outfit for your babies... they will be swaddled the entire time that they are in the hospital and the nursing staff will not want clothes on them, since they will be doing frequent checks on them. Make sure you take three pair of elastic waist pants for you, you will get tired of hospital gowns and you want extra in case you would "mess" up a pair. A bog shirt and comfy pants and tennis shoes for you to home in. Take your toiletries, shampoo, etc. Bring a robe for yourself for after you shower. You really don't have to bring anything for the babies other than going home outfits, the hospital will provide everything ! GOOD LUCK !

you should pack them each two sets of clothes. also bring scrach mittens. for you you will need nipple cream shampo soap toothpaste toothbrush hair brush magaszine and your favorite maxi pad brand so you don't have you use the ones in the hospital. bring change for the machines for the daddy to be. and a list of phone numbers of people you will want to call. they don't allow cell phones so maybe even a phone card so you can call people out of state. and a camera don't forget that you will want lots of picks. i also bring sensitve diaper wipes i have very senistive skin so i think my babies do as well. oh and hand sanitizer so that when people want to hold the baby you can have them wash there hands first.

Mom:
Your list of regularly used meds
Nightgown
Robe
Slippers
Undies
A nice book
Hairbrush/comb/hair tie etc.
Tootbrush
Anything special you want.

Be careful not to take expensive stuff.

Babies:

Baby T-shirt
1 newborn outfit, usually a 1 piece sleeper
1 receiving blanket (or two if it is cold in your area)
1 heavier blanket

The hospital supplies the rest, part of delivery charges I think.

You MUST have an infant's car seat in your car to go home.
