When I picked up my son from daycare today he had the worst diaper rash, the woman who takes care of him told me about it and said that he had pooped 4 times and it just kept getting irritated.. Well when we got home he had pooped again, and he cried when i tried to clean him, so I gave him a long bath let him play and let it air out for a while then put butt paste on it.. It still seems to be bothering him??

Is it normal for him to have that many bowel movements, and is there anything else I can do for him??

Any input would be helpful.

I'm about to buy a forward-facing carseat for my son, but I have no idea which one to get. Can anyone help? I really can't afford to get an expensive one, as I'm a single mother, but I'm not looking for any really cheap ones either. Somewhere in the middle. I just don't know which carseats are good. It's all so confusing to me, they all look the same.

We have 11 week old twins who were born 6 weeks early. They will not take a nap during the day. They just cry constantly. This burns a lot of their energy so they get hungry all the time, which in turn makes them cry all the more. My wife can't handle this all day long. The only time they sleep is at night for a 6 hour stretch and maybe a 3 hour stretch. Their temperature is fine. We have tried putting a little rice cereal in with their food. This makes them more energetic at first but then if they fall asleep they are out for several hours. But the problem with using a little cereal is they get constipated and cry because they are hurting. Does anyone have a suggestion on how we can get them to take a nap during the day? Aren't they supposed to sleep for like 18 hours a day at this point? That's what we've been told by various sources. My wife is at the end of her rope, figuratively speaking, and we'd appreciate any advice you could give. Thank you.

My husband and I love this name, but can't agree on a middle name. Any suggestions?

By the way: Anne and Marie are out....they are so overused for middle names! (Not trying to offend anyone by this, just my opinion. I know 5 people with the middle name Marie, and 4 with Anne).

I'm rather petite and am having trouble finding one that fits. I tried a wrap type one, and one by infantino. The wrap one is way too complicated and is in a stretchy fabric that after 5 minutes it's too stretched out to hold the baby. The infantino one would be good, but even with the straps in the smallest position my baby is still too far from my body.

I'm just interested in forward facing and tummy facing, not a cradle / nursing type position.

I was unsuccessful breast feeding my first daughter. I'm giving it a go with my second she is 5 days old.
I know she is getting milk cause I can hear her swallowing but sometimes even when I can hear her swallowing it hurts a little.
She always falls asleep before 15 minutes is done. Should I maybe only keep her on each side for 10 minutes instead.
She does have lots of yellow poopy diapers which the doctor said is right but I'm not sure how much she is peeing cause they may be in with the poopy diapers.
And it seems like she always want to feed it seems like between eating and falling asleep and burping it takes about 2 hours to feed and then she's ready to eat again.
I really feel as if we are on the verge of having this down but if anyone could give me some pointers or advice I would appreciate it. Easiest ways to get her to latch properly would be nice.

My daughter seems to be developing a fear of strangers. Strangers to her seems to be everyone she doesn't see regularly. Is it possable, or is she to young? My son never did anything like this. She screams until whoever has her gives her to me. Any serious ideas of help.

I am getting so sick and tired of staying home and never going anywhere. I had my daughter on the first and I haven't seemed to go hardly anywhere since. My hubby is working two jobs and is hardly ever home. He is gone from 7 in the morning till 9 at night. He works 7 days a week and so we hardly ever see each other. I am just getting tired of never doing anything anymore. I love my daughter to death but it gets depressing when you wake up and stay in your pajamas all day because what is the use of getting dressed when you aren't planning on going anywhere anyways. We don't have much money since I am on maternity leave so it's not like we can go out shopping or anything. I just want a chance to get dressed up and go somewhere and have a good time. The worst part is that I have lost my pg weight plus some so I feel great and want to show it off. Can anyone relate and does anyone have any suggestions?

My daughter is 10 months and has two bottom teeth so far. I give her zwieback toast and cheerios and baby food. I have given her cooked frozen peas before and cut up some caneloupe for her for the first time last night. What other frozen or canned or fresh foods can I give her? I don't have a whole lot of time to cook(although I would love it if I did!). She doesn't seem to need all the pureed baby food anymore, but I'm not sure what will be easy for her to eat. I'm trying to get together a grocery list! Thanks!
