My 4 week old wakes up from her sleep screaming. She will scream until she either burps or spews, which normally takes a very long time. She screams after she has her bottle, we have tried various formulas, and doesn't easily burp then either. Her screaming has lasted from around 9.00am to 2.30pm today. She also has an unsettled period from around 8.00pm-10pm at night.

She doesn't seem to take a full feed properly. She will drink some, won't burp, fall asleep and wake up screaming again. She sucks on her bottle, but doesn't seem to actually swallow properly, and she gets so much in her mouth she coughs and splutters. I have the slowest flowing teats, and the cap on the bottle done up as tight as it will go - the milk still runs down her face.

I've tried gas drops, cycling her legs, rubbing her belly, changing positions when burping her, holding her upright, warm baths, warm wraps on her belly, changing the temperature of her formula... it seems like I've tried everything!

My son (6 1/2 months) is in size 3 diapers. We use the White Cloud brand from walmart & LOVE them.. until recently they have started leaking at night. I'm not sure why unless he is just consuming more liquids & 'producing' more liquids. They use to last all night long (8pm to about 7 or 7:30 am). He wakes up around 3 or 4 am & gets a bottle, then goes back to bed. His pjs haven't been wet when he gets up with a bottle it's always when he wakes up for the day. He has also recently started sleeping on his tummy which I think may be part of why it is leaking out. The other night I even changed his diaper when he got a bottle (which was a nightmare because he just cried the whole time, he did not like being messed with while half asleep) & it still leaked. We have not had a problem with the diapers leaking during the day at all. Can anyone suggest a different diaper for him to wear during the night that works for you. I want to continue to use white cloud for the day since they are cheaper!

I am 31 weeks pregnant, but the doctor says that all the signs point that I will be in labor by Christmas! My little girl's estimated weight is about 4 lbs, so I've been told that the complications will probably be minimal, but I'm still afraid! Does anyone have any experience with premature babies that you could share with me?

My 3 mo. old pulls the blanket over her head in order to sleep (don't worry, I watch her closely..for those who are worried). It totally cracks me up. When I pull the blanket back, she looks at me out of the side of her eye and cracks up (which cracks ME up, too). She also gives the pouty lip each and every time my mother in law holds her...which I think is totally hilarious, but my MIL doesn't find it very funny. She also talks my ear off when I'm changing her and looks at her mobile as if to say, "Hey bumble bee guys! Remember me?"

I can't wait till she gets older and does more cute and funny things...I'm sure there are plenty awesome moments to come.

So what does YOUR baby do that cracks you up?

She's almost 8 months old. She has been consistently going to bed around 7 pm, and waking up around 6 am, since she was 5 months old. But a few days ago, she started to go to bed at different hours every day! Some times she goes to bed around 5 pm, and wakes up at 9pm, acting fully awake! and she will go back to sleep around 2 hrs. later... Or goes to sleep around 7, then wakes up at 10, and stays up until 11pm... Yesterday she went to sleep at 8, and around 12 midnight she woke up! And then at 3 am. And tonight, she went to sleep at 6 pm, and woke up one hour later (and she's still awake)!
What's up with the messy schedule?
I'd worked so hard to keep her on a regular schedule of feedings, naps and bed time, and now I feel like I did all for nothing, cause she just does a different thing every day!
Why is she doing this? Will she go back to a more regular bed time, or what should I expect? Is this MY FAULT? am I doing something wrong?

please help me!

I have a three week old daughter who wakes up from her sleep with a startle and screams the house down. She will then scream until she burps or spews (takes a loonnng time). She screams after she has her bottle, even if she has had a good burp. I've tried warm baths, holding her in different positions, cycling her legs, putting warm wraps on her belly, etc but nothing seems to help with the belly-aches. How can I help her?

I started elijah on solids last week, hes now on 2 solids per day, of just over half the jar each feeding.

He hsa 4 bottles (230mls), but with the day two, he will only drink about half, and at night if very fussy, will drink most, but it takes ages. His morning one is the only good one, he will drink the whole lot.

Im not sure wether i should drop the solids until 6 months, hes 5m1w. Any advice?
