My son (6 1/2 months) is in size 3 diapers. We use the White Cloud brand from walmart & LOVE them.. until recently they have started leaking at night. I'm not sure why unless he is just consuming more liquids & 'producing' more liquids. They use to last all night long (8pm to about 7 or 7:30 am). He wakes up around 3 or 4 am & gets a bottle, then goes back to bed. His pjs haven't been wet when he gets up with a bottle it's always when he wakes up for the day. He has also recently started sleeping on his tummy which I think may be part of why it is leaking out. The other night I even changed his diaper when he got a bottle (which was a nightmare because he just cried the whole time, he did not like being messed with while half asleep) & it still leaked. We have not had a problem with the diapers leaking during the day at all. Can anyone suggest a different diaper for him to wear during the night that works for you. I want to continue to use white cloud for the day since they are cheaper!

I bought some size 4 diapers the other night and he leaked through it too.. so a larger size didn't work! He's a big boy 20 lbs at his 6 month check up!

I had the same problem with white cloud diapers. I'm not sure why they started leaking as the size got bigger. I can use them during the day and I pay a little extra to use the huggies at night. Since then, my twins don't get up in the morning soaked. Good Luck!!

You need to go up a size in diapers, I've had this problem a couple of times with my son, he's 6 months and is in sz 4 diapers, he has been since he was 4 months old. Everytime his diaper leaked at night, it was the same thing his pjs would be wet by the time he woke up in the morning no matter if we changed him in the middle of the night or not. All we did was go up a size and it works everytime. Don't go by the weight on the package, it's only a guideline, my son always had to go up a size 2 or 3 pounds before the package said he should, it was because his belly was so big. We use pampers cruisers and they work like a charm, I also don't give him any extra liquids other than his breastmilk after his dinnertime (around 5, 5:30)
Hope this helps, good luck!

Check the Good Night diapers at the store. My daughter wears pull ups to bed. She is almost 3 now and potty trained, but she still wets at night. The Good Night diapers are too big for her. She is tiny. But they might work for you. I had a friend that used them a lot. My daughters pull ups leak at night, so I just change her before I go to bed, whether she is asleep or not. Then she is okay in the morning. You might have to start changing him when he gets his bottle. If he is sleeping on his stomach now, that is probably the reason he is leaking out. I used to have a wipes warmer for my daughter, I know how spoiled. It actually worked when she was a baby and she wasn't disturbed at night when I changed her. I think it's cause the wipes are so cold. Good luck I know how frustrating it can be. Just shop around.

Well, I use White Cloud too.
Changing him at his diaper change is a good idea to do anyway, whether he cries or not. to prevent a diaper rash.
Maybe a size 3 is too big?
And you might want to cut back on his drinking before bed too.
My daughter has always had this problem. She can't have anything to drink after 7 pm.
You might want to feed him earlier.
Or you can also tell your doctor about this.
He could have a UTI,and that is why he is peeing a lot.

The best diapers are pampers. When my son was born i used huggies and those would leaked i change to diapers since and i have not had a problem since then and my son i 9 months old and drinks alot of water and juice. So you're best bet is pampers.

I still have the same problem and I have tried them all I still can not find one that will work wonders. I tried huggies and they were the worst I use pampers and I like them the best but still have some problems. I would try loves some people swore by them but I think it is because he wakes up and takes a bottle ( mine does the same) SO there is not much to do.

Hi,
Try Huggies Overnites Diapers they're made speically for abosrbing extra urine at night. Or you should you a diaper thats a size bigger..thats what we did with our son. Sleeping on his stomach is puting pressure on his bladder. I agree White Cloud diapers are great, I hated Pampers baby dry and luvs.

Try diapering him in a bigger size for bed. Size 3 may have an overnight kind too. If you think it's because of the way he's sleeping you may try diapering him backwards. Sounds weird I know, but I did it with my daughter when she was taking hers off and she didn't even notice.

Luv or Huggies, Pampers do not hold much. My son pees through at night and he is in pampers, but i put him in luvs and he goes all night just fine. But i dont give him any thing to drink after 6pm and he doesnt drink any in the night either. Change him when he is up for the bottle (while drinking one, keeps him occupied) or try to get him to not need one in the night.
