I really like it. The newness an older name takes on when a baby has the name is amazing. It is like a whole other name. Older names are sweet and oh so innocent. I knew a girl names Ester. She was so beautiful and amazing....but her name was so much older than her. She brought the name to the here and now and made it great. My cousin named his daughter Elaine after my grandmother. He calls her Lainey. How cute is that. I love it and am jealous that all I can do is use is as a middle name now.
Gloria is a fine name for a little girl!

I think of the song. We considered Gloria for awhile with our first daughter. It didn't stick though. If you like it, use it! It's your kid!

Dont really like it! It souns too old fashioned. But hey its your baby and one of the joys of having a baby is naming her!! So whatever floats your boat!

not my personal favorite - but I have 3 boys, so that would be a funny name for a boy......if you love it --- name your baby that! It's unique, positive and feminine.
