My daughter is 10 months and has two bottom teeth so far. I give her zwieback toast and cheerios and baby food. I have given her cooked frozen peas before and cut up some caneloupe for her for the first time last night. What other frozen or canned or fresh foods can I give her? I don't have a whole lot of time to cook(although I would love it if I did!). She doesn't seem to need all the pureed baby food anymore, but I'm not sure what will be easy for her to eat. I'm trying to get together a grocery list! Thanks!

I fed my son most of what I ate that was healthy for him. If you can get a food grinder, which is relatively inexpensive, you can grind up meat and mix it in with mashed potatoes and other vegetables. Gerber makes snack crackers, fruit snacks and small toddler sized meals that are pretty healthy. Pretty much any healthy food that can be cut up into bite sized pieces will work.

My son is 10 months also. He eats what we eat. So I think pretty much anything you give her would be okay. Stay away from spicy or very acidic foods as they would probably upset her stomach.

I like to cook pasta a head of time--small shells or macaroni and then reheat it on the nights we do have spicy food. Good Luck!

Fruit filled cereal bars work well if you cut them up into small pieces. Also, mashed potatoes with gravy, and any other soft adult food like that. Cut up grapes, bananas, cantaloupe, etc. More importantly, watch your daughter as she's eating and try lots of other foods. As long as you cut them into very small pieces and keep an eye on her, you should be able to continue to introduce more and more food each week.

Just buy a hand blender and puree everything that you eat.
She'll let you know what she doesn't like.

Just keep a bottle of piriton handy for any unusual reactions :)
