at first i did it by weeks but after a while you lose count and by the end of the year you get past 52 weeks ages befor the childs frist birthday... it just gets confusing- it will be by months next time round. however it seem that Drs and health visitors stick to weeks

All professionals will measure it in weeks at every check up/ weigh in etc. I lost count of weeks by time he reached 5 months!!!

weeks like have u ever heard some one say shes 7 weeks old 18 weeks old but when they hit 1 year i just say a year old i dont go past 12 months too complicated

Use weeks until it gets ridiculous (most people's math skills start to fail around 3 months). Then use months until that gets ridiculous (around 3 years). Then go to years. Cheers!
