That's a toughy. Baby's scratch themselves. Mitts help, but keeping their fingernails cut as close as you can helps too. Gerber, and I'm sure other brands as well, make gowns for babys that have a little flap that folds over their hands. We always employed the help of "swaddling" with our kids. My husband is a master at it. They like it, and it keeps their little fingers out of their faces.

in the start, is he a house canines or an outdoors canines? canines are %. animals, and characteristic a reliable favor to be with their kin. If he's outdoors and on my own an excellent element of the day, this would nicely be a self-mutilation. He would nicely be doing this as a psychological symptom of being bored and lonely - that's like obsessive/compulsive. which could be my first wager. If this isn't the case, and he receives a large number of interaction, and has not had some kind of recent weight help application or interaction with new flowers interior the backyard, that is a few kind of hypersensitivity. allergic reactions are confusing to diagnose. it may be nutrition, flowers, insects, shampoo, carpet, or different pets. my personal vet cautioned toddler benadryl to regulate the indicators, and then eliminating one source after yet another. frequently, it does not be microsopic insects like mites considering they'd attack the ears and eyes first.

Pick up some baby nail clippers and trim his nails. He won't stop exploring...and that sometimes means exploring his own face.

Apply some calamine lotion (it is pink and available at any drug store) with a cotton ball. It will sooth your baby immediately so that they won't scratch themselves.
Hope this helps.
Merry, merry.
