Would you consider this name unisex? Yes, I have seen it spelled Renee, but I thought that looked more feminine. What do you think?

I made the mistake of laughing when my 11mth old daughter found her nose with her index finger pretty much by accident (or so it looked) last week and now she thinks this is the greatest game. She wont stop putting her finger in her nostril now! I'll gently push her hand away, and she'll start giggling, then use the other hand. She even had a finger from each hand up her nostrils at the same time tonight during dinner. I wouldnt be so grossed out if she wasnt doing this at meal time - finger up her nose, then fingers grab peas, then fingers and peas go in her mouth. Yuck! I've already messed up by laughing, ideas on what to do now?

He sleeps between 12 and 14 hours at night, then naps in the afternoon for 1 to 3 hours, and sometimes wants to take another nap early evening. Even when he is awake he looks tired. I am really getting worried, it has been like this for over a month now. I keep waiting for him to outgrow it. Should I be concerned?

At our last doctor appointment, the doctor recommended taking the pacifier away before 15 months, since I am having another baby. My son will be 18 months old by the time the new baby is born and the doctor thinks he will have time to "forget" the binky and will not want to steal his baby brothers, if we wean him in time. I just don't know. He doesn't use the pacifier alot, only for sleeping and occasionally in the car, but he really loves it and wants it if he sees it during the day. He won't sleep without it, and that's why I hesitate to take it away. Any advice?

Are there any foods that are known to help boost breast milk supply? I seen info on fenugreek as a supplement but was looking for some food alternatives that I can incorporate into my diet.

My son is 12 and I now have another one on the way. I have been stockpiling diapers and things so I won't need to run out and buy stuff after the baby gets here.

I have a pack of newborns, two packs of ones (approx. 94 diapers), six packs of twos (approx. 312 diapers), and lots of threes (approx. 388). I know it sounds like I have gone diaper crazy, but I just want to be stocked up and I keep getting coupons
(mostly Pampers and Huggies - which I loved with my son - they worked the best to me).

So anyway I have some more coupons due to expire soon and I was wondering what size diapers I should buy??? How long do diapers last??? Do they ever "go bad?" It has been so long since my son was little I truly forget. Plus when I had him it was a day to day thing buying diapers. Now I am a little better off and I want to be prepared. Any advice???

She kind of does an army crawl - on her elbows, slithering with her legs. But, she doesn't pull up on any furniture or seem like she's interested in really crawling. She prefers to roll everywhere instead.

I have been using Dreft Baby detergent for my son's clothes. He is 9 mo. now and I am wondering ... how long before I can start using regular detergent? Also bleach for their white clothing, would it be to strong for them?

Our dog is 10 years old, 37 lbs, mixed breed. She has never shown any signs of aggression towards toddlers or children. But she's never been exposed to a newborn baby either. She loves all people and even though she would be considered an older dog she does not look it or have any problems sometimes associated with older dogs. She is the best dog I have ever had.

My son's dr. recommend adding 2 tsp per ounce of formula for his acid reflux condition. I am having a horrible time getting it to come out of the Playtex fast flow and the Avent fast flow nipples. What bottles/nipples work best when adding the cereal? Thanks

hi. i am a first time mom and never had alot of experience with kids before. my little girl is 6 weeks old and sometimes i don't know what i should be doing with her during the day. is it ok to carry her around alot or should i be trying to put her own and play with her on her play mat. some books scare you into thinking that you should be doing all these activities with them even when they are really little.

My son does ok with his rice cereal but I dont think he cares so much for the taste so I was wondering how long I should wait before letting him try a new flavor that he may be more keen on.
