And in real life too. But, I am mainly speaking of here on this site. I perused this Baby question board, and wow. Women in general are very catty and mean!! If one lady is doing CIO, and asking for advice, 16 other women come to call her a child abuser and a terrible mother. It's the same with about the end of every spectrum here, it seems. Everyone's household is unique, and what works for your family may disrupt mine or the single father's down the street. Why are women this way? Somedays, I wish I had a weenie.

I always make sure that he is warm enough, he always sleeps in sleepers with feet and sometimes if it's chilly I put socks on underneath. It's even during the day, but especially when he wakes up after sleeping at night, or after his naps. Nothing else, like his feet or his nose are cold, just his hands. Any ideas?

My son is 5 months old and does not sleep very well, up until a couple of weeks ago I just let him sleep whenever he wanted during the day, but I am now trying to slowly work him onto a schedule. I was wondering when he should generally be taking his naps and how long they should be. He usually wakes up anytime between 6:30 and 8:00.

I had an Ameda Pump In Style.........died after 1 and a half kids of usage..........Had to switch to my sisters Medela one......which she's had for a while, worked great, both of them did.

The Medela one seemed to have a longer life span.......

I'm in need of buying a new one for this baby........trying to figure out which one will work better.........I'm thinking about the
Whisper Wear, because I do daycare, and don't want to be able to pump discretely in front of the kids...... Any one used this pump, and had success with it????????

My 5 month old has a horrible cough, he's had it on and off for about a month, first he had an ear infection, then a throat infection and now he has this cough that has gotten worse and is accompanied by a stuffed runny nose. I have taken him to the doctors several times, and also the emergency room because he WOULD not sleep and I wanted to make sure it wasn't another ear infection. Just took him to the doctors 2 days ago, I was told it's only mucus from post nasal drip and was given infant decongestant which seems to be helping his nose, he's barely stuffed up but his cough has gotten worse he doesn't know enough (obviously) to spit out what he coughs up. Is there any suggestions on how to get the mucus out? I have a vaporiser in his room at night to help him while he sleeps.

Before i took him home from the hospitalthe level was at 272...after treatment it came down to 192 then the doctor ask me to bring him home(don't know why because the good level would be below 150....but he's the proffessional). My baby boy is now about three & a half weeks old and still have jaundice so i went back for a second check. The level has RISEN to 260.The doctor says that the baby's poop is ok(yellow mustard). The doctor says it's normal for a child that is on breast feeding to have the jaudice slowly going down after the third or fourth week.Is it true???he also said that it's still better to breast feed than feeding formula milk.Is it true???I am confuse!!!Anybody that have any advise or expierience please advise.Through researsch from the internet Jaundice will go down after two weeks.Pretty worried.

My son wakes up in the middle of the night screaming bloody murder!! I will change him, and give him milk and tylenol ( he is cutting a tooth again) and this works until the milk is gone then he is back to screaming. Like tonight for example... he woke up at 3 screaming, so I made his bottle and he was quiet and about to go to sleep. I could hear him throw his empty bottle down and then proceeded to try to find a sleeping position for about 10 mins. He obviously didnt find the right one bc he started screaming bloooodddyyy murder! It was terrible... I have decided to try to sit and wait method. and it works but only after about 30 mins of screams and wails. He sheds tears for gods sake.... Is it ok to let him cry himself to sleep or is there an underlying problem I am missing.. He is cutting a tooth, but even when he was cutting 2 teeth at once he never acted like this. A little tylenol and some milk or juice sent him right back to sleep..Is this normal behavior for an 11 month old?
