My son for the past week wakes up out of a deep sleep screaming and everything i do dont calm him down. If hes in a light sleep and whines i can rub his back and tal to him softly and it helps him calm down but does anyone have any suggestions about when he wakes up screaming at the top of his lungs? Hes a very quiet calm baby so the screaming has worried me. Also any ideas what it can be from?

i heard that it is not good to give a baby (9 month old) sour fruits like orange, tangerine, lemon, kiwi, lime.
sometimes i just bite through a slice and i very quick put the fruit on his tongue, just so he gets a little juice. so maybe 10 drops. he makes a funny face from the sour.
so please let me know weather i should worry and stop it or not.

plus, if you give fruits to the baby, does it have to be cooked or can it be raw (apples, pears..., not the banana)???

thanks

My son will be 9 months old in a few days. We are still struggling at night to get him down for bed. I've tried feeding him dinner earlier, bathing him 1/2 hour before bed, allowing him to play in his playroom after bathtime....but nothing works. He is still very hard to put to sleep - one of us ends up either rocking him to sleep in his room or walking him around. At almost 24 lbs, that is becoming less of an option. Help!

I'm having twins next month, a girl and a boy. My daughter's name will be Paige Aubree, and my son's name will be Mason. I am looking for a middle name for Mason. I don't want it start with an 'M', our last name starts with an M (initials would me MMM - too much!) I think I want a classic middle name, but I'm open for suggestions. Also , do names that end in 'an / on / en' sound funny with Mason? Some of my thoughts are: Riley, Liam, Cameron, Patrick, Ethan, Alexander, Joseph, Andre, James. I have 2 other children, their names are Hailey Michelle and Andrew Robert. Thanks!

I have heard that you are not supposed to heat it up, but only searve it at room temperature. How long does it stay good out of the fridge?

I heard somewhere that stem cells are being taken from aborted babies umbilical cords. Horrible I hear you say and I tend to agree so I looked it up on the net and found this link. It says that you can save your babies stem cells for a future date in case your baby might need them one day. I feel that I would donate some of my babies stem cells to enable others to have a possible cure of their ails, not just keep it for myself or my baby. Would you?

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and was wondering what the best place to install my babies car seat is... rear facing, in the backseat on one side or the other..... OR rear facing, in the backseat, middle? Someone told me the baby is safer in the middle of the seat, but I always thought it was safer behind the passenger seat or driver seat?

see it, when you look closely, but anyways. i thought it should be gone in the first couple weeks. it worrys me, it is between his eyebrows and moves over to his eyebrowes and reaches his hairline. its very fine and about 1 millimeters long, and darkish and like i said, you only can see it, when you look very closey, although its kind of dark in the sun its blond.
please let me know wheather its possible that he still looses them.
thank you

I have a 2 month old. and once in a while i will let it try my food. not like hard food or anything. I will let him try like gravy and stuff of that sort. I wont do it very often. but once in a while i will wash my hands dip my finger in the gravy and put it in his mouth. he loves it soo much. everytime i do it he gets this huge smile on his face. Someone told me i shouldnt do that. but why? Also i am not giving him spoonfuls or anything. just a little finger dip!

My 2 month old has been crying most of the day, and most of last night.I have given her the"Little Tummys" gas releif med to no avail..I have tried to do the dryer thing, to soothe her with the sound. Her swing has the nature sounds and water sounds, but it has had no effect either.I have tried to bounce her, pat and rub her back, what seems like everything and nothing seems to work.Does anyone think this sounds like colic, and if so, do you have any suggestions as to what may help?
Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated!
