Wow i never heard of this?! Our baby's room was painted yellow/white stripes (small stripes)... and yes, our baby was VERY colicky. Not sure if that has anything to do with it-the doctor said first born males are more likely to be colicky-which that 's what my son was.

I've read that the color yellow is a color that inspires 'energy'; so it might not be wise to paint a nursery yellow if you want the baby to go to sleep in it. And that sort of makes sense. But I've never heard of yellow causing colic. Sorry.

I've never heard of that. The one has nothing to do with the other. Some babies are colicky. That's just it. Painting a room won't make it happen. Now, it isn't wise to put a newborn in a freshly painted room. Make sure the fumes have dissipated and the paint is cured before putting your baby in that room.

Oh come on !!!!
Seriously how can a colour affect someones health,
When my son was a baby he had a yellow nursery, blankets, clothing even his comfort blanket was yellow and he never had a minute of colic.
Don't be so silly

It is a scientific fact that colors do affect mood. Ive talked to a lot of people who hate red walls, one girl told me it gave her constant headaches, and my sister said it just made her madder and madder when she sat in her red living room. They paint prisons a certain color, mental hospitals a certain color because it does very well affect mood, so it is very possible that yellow walls could make a baby colicky.
