My daughter is 9 months and has one tooth on the bottom. She has a white mark on her gums on the top. She wont let me get a good look at it and I think it might be a tooth? But she only has a forth of one bottom tooth.

My fifteen month old daughter has a horrible diaper rash unlike anything I've ever seen. It's got bleeding spots now. It started about a week ago and just doesn't get any better. Yesterday she developed a rash on both of her cheeks (face) and under the inner underside part of her left leg. This morning she woke up with rash under both eyes. I have an appointment with her urgent care physician at 2:30 but does anyone have any clue what could be wrong with her? My mom said something about fifth's disease- what's that? No new soaps, no one else with rashes, I've given oatmeal baths daily sometimes several times daily and we've tried numerous creams and pastes including monistat 7 externally because we thought it could have been a yeast infection. Also have used yogurt because we thought it was yeast.

My wonderful six month daughter and the sippy cup. : ) I give her the sippy at every meal time. (highchair meals) And she is AMAZING at holding it and putting it up to her mouth. She just doesnt suck on it to get anything out. Its more like a play toy. She chews on it, turns it upside down, throws it on the floors...I want to try to ween her from her bottles and start using the sippy cup more but she woont drink out of it. I used formula, water, juice (diluted of course)...any suggestions?

My six month old baby has severe chapped skin on her cheeks and neck.I have tried Eucerine , Vaseline and Johnson's lotion and none of the above has helped at all.
The skin has become so red and rough that I am begining to wonder if it really is dry skin or something else.
The doctor says apply Vaseline but as I mentioned it did not help one bit.
Can anybody please suggest something.
I am sure its not any kind of allergy as I havent given her anything different or new to eat nor have I used any new baby products on her.
Please advice.

he eats 6oz every 3 hours and now he seems to not be getting full, do i bump him up to 8oz every 3 hours (which seems like alot to me) or should i start on rice cereal??? ive heard lots of both, but the dr. said not to start on cereal this young b/c it can lead to diabetes???? but every mom says thats not true......

I am worried that this will affect her in the future. Does anyone know what side affects can be caused in the future from infants not consuming sugar in their diets? By the way, even with no sugar in her diet she is very energetic and active.

My pediatrician told me to start my baby girl on cereal and vegetables but I didnt ask her if I should give her any juice. Is she too young for juice? Should I wait until she is 6 months? Just wondering if anyone knew.

My son has slept through the night since he was 10 weeks old. The past few nights he's been waking up and just will not go back to sleep. I think he's in pain due to teething. The problem is he doesn't respond to oragel or baby tylenol.... I've heard about some kind of teething tablets? Anybody use them? If so, tell me the name....WE need some relief.

I want to breast feed when my baby is born, I have heard lots of different things about it good and bad.

does it hurt when you first start?
what does it feel like?
did you have any problems feeding your baby in public?
how did you deal with it if you did?
what about expressing milk?
does it mess with your supply?
did you find it easier to do this for feeding in public places?

Sorry, lots of questions but my midwife can't be bothered to talk to me in depth about it.

A common practice in India for thousands of years, it is said that massaging baby's nose on the sides gives it a better shape. Is this even possible? My girl is 9 months old, by the way and has a flat and wide nose unlike any of my family members.
