Thank your lucky stars!!! Sweet is a very strong flavor, and some toddlers just don't go for it. Just like some can't stand salty. She will come around. As long as she gets her fruits and veggies she'll be fine. She doesn't need sugar, it's not a part of a daily diet.

Hurray for you! How lucky! Trust me, she will eventually catch on to how good "sweet" tastes. She just hasn't had it much yet. Baby food is not sweetened.
Most natural foods do have sweetener in them. Fructose is a sweetener and it is in fruits, for example. Sugar is NOT a dietary requirement! If she is every energetic and active (and sounds like she is healthy then) don't force her to try sweets. The longer you hold off, the better! Might make Halloween kind of a bummer for her but...just kidding. She can have the fun of the trick or treating but not eat the candy.
I love to see a question where it's a happy one! Your dentist may not like you but...just kidding :o)

Consider it a blessing. You won't have to worry about her wanting sweet junk food all the time. She'll be at lower risk for all sorts of health problems including diabetes and obesity. As long as she eats a healthy well balanced diet and drinks plenty of water be glad. One of my kids was that way when she was the same age and younger and still to this day isn't really a sweets eater. She's a young adult now.

We get all the sugars we need from complex carbohydrates...such as breads, grains, veggies (carrots, potatoes, etc.), fruits and so forth. Some of these are not necessarily sweet and certainly a better sugar to ingest.
Be thankful your child doesn't have a sweet tooth, which would be unhealthy and as a bonus you won't have to fight with her in every isle that contains, candies, ice cream and cereals with every shopping expedition!

I have never really liked sweets. My Daddy never ate more than one small tootsie roll a day.My sons aren't real big on sweets,My daughter has spells where she is and then goes for a long time without them.A lot of foods turn to sugar during digestion.Especially breads. I have alot of dieabetics in my family. Also fruits have natural sugars.

don't push the sweets! she is better off not getting a taste of refined sugars.
she will get enough sugars in fruit, pasta, bread - they all convert to sugars in the body.
If she doesn't care for fruit juices too much, add some water to them so that the taste is milder.
If her tastes remain the same - she will be a much healthier and well off child that most eating all the candy and sweets.

I would say "yea" to your daughter not liking sugar. I would continue offering her good stuff that is sweet like fruit. You don't want her to loose her taste for the good stuff that is sweet but there is no need for her to develop a taste for the bad stuff. Just remind yourself that her tastes will change over time so don't assume she'll never like sweet stuff.

Count your blessings! No extra trips to the dentist, less chance of an over weight baby/child, or diabetes, or hyperactivity, and healthier all around! Wow! It may change over time but it's great for now. No need to worry!
