My daughter is 9 months and has one tooth on the bottom. She has a white mark on her gums on the top. She wont let me get a good look at it and I think it might be a tooth? But she only has a forth of one bottom tooth.

Every baby is different. I have five children. My first two children got their first teeth at 4 months old and a mouth full of teeth by the time they were one. My third child got her first tooth at 12 1/2 months and took quite a while to get the rest. My fourth child has just turned one and has had two bottom teeth and one top tooth come out just before her first b'day then the other top tooth came out three weeks later. Don't worry they will come out when they are ready.

every child is different, both my children had 4 teeth by the time they were 9 months old. The white on the gum is probably a tooth trying to pop through

Babies get their teeth at different stages. Some babies are born with several teeth. It's not unusual for a baby to have 2, 3, or 4 teeth at four months.

Every baby is different.

Mine got his bottom 2 teeth at about nine months. And his top 2 a little over a month after that.

One girl in my son's daycare had ALL of her teeth at one year.

I wouldn't worry. Actually, for teeth, later is better - less concern about cavities. (When babies fall asleep nursing, they usually still have milk in their mouth, which is not good for their teeth.)
