My suggestion would be to put her to bed a half hour earlier. If that doesn't help then maybe she isn't tired and try a half hour later! Good luck!

We used to call 7pm the witching hour with our first baby:).
She is tired because its her bedtime and its been a long day. A nice bath, a rock in the rocking chair with a bedtime feed, a dimly lit room and lulabies sometimes did the trick. Other nights it would take a couple drives around the block, or even putting her in her bouncy seat on the clothes dryer(supervised, of course). Hylands also makes a great colic tablet (as well as teething tablets) which can be found at health food stores. These were always good to have on hand, and are all natural.
Good luck-she'll get over herself soon.

Try starting your nighttime routine at 6:00pm so that she's calm, fed and ready for sleep at 7:00pm. Be sure that she's had plenty to eat. If that still doesn't work, try starting a half hour earlier and adjust accordingly.
My husband and I have been doing this with our 5 month old son since he was about 8 weeks old. 6:00pm is bath time followed by a book and then nursing. It took a couple nights, but now he goes down "like a baby" every night at 7:00.
Good luck!

I agree with the bath idea. Don't overstimulate her after 6 pm and stick to the same routine every night. I found Bath - Bottle - Bed always worked. Good luck!

Have you tried no cafiene no sugar no milk(sugars) thru the day? try to tire her. She might be teething and it quits @night. colic b/c of an allergen in food. @ night your baby's comfort level goes up. Just like with adults lets say you've got a sore throat It HURTS in the morning and your natural comfort neurotransmitters encelephalins(from endorphins[natural morphine]) release all day making the evening more tolerable I should of used a sprained foot. throats are always bogus huh? hope I helped

I also agree with the two previous answers. I would also go get the lavender soothing baby wash and lotion. It really does work and calms them. Are you still giving her two naps a day?
