"Has a new baby" = "libido is gone"
If she has a newborn, she's probably exhausted and touched out. Giver her some time to get used to caring for the new baby and to rest and recover.

I agree...there may be nothing wrong!
How long since baby was born...are we talking days, weeks?
If it has been only this long, then she may simply be too tired and possibly over stimulated (especially if she is breastfeeding) and would just rather rest.
If it has been several months, perhaps the fact she can no longer have children, even though I assume this was her decision to have a tubal ligation, could be playing on her mind...her body will no longer do what it was intended to do: make babies. Some women have a problem with this after it is done.
Have you tried to talk to her about her feelings? (i know....too difficult for a man, right? getting in touch with all those mushy feelings....hehe ;) ) Honestly, though...try to talk to her! Try to understand why she has no libido. I went through a similar experience after our daughter was born (though didn't have my tubes tied)...I went through Post Partum Depression (or post-natal depression). Hubby didn't have any idea what this was caused from and got mad at me on several occasions "We have a beautiful child, I love you more than anything on this earth, I try to give you whatever you want...why are you so unhappy?" But it's not that simple...it's not about being unhappy about things in your life...it's about depression, caused by who knows what some of the time!

So there you go...there are a few options: any of which could be your partner's problem. Best thing is to try to understand, be supportive, don't rush her and, if need be, take her to the doctor.

GEEZ, give her a freaking chance to recover from having your child. If you even had any idea what she went through to have the baby, as in labor that really hurts, you wouldn`t be ready to jump in the sack either. Her body carried and fed another human being for 9 months, plus I bet you do not help with any of the nighttime feedings or taking care of the baby to give her a break. No wonder she tied her tubes.

it may not be the effects of having her tubes tied. After the birth of a baby it can take up to twelve weeks for hormone levels to even back out and sex drive to return.also the lack of sleep over those early months can make the thought of sex almost laughable. the surgery could be effecting her hormone levels also and this can only be fixed by visiting a doctor and having blood tests done to determine the cause of the imbalance, be paitent she may find it comes back stronger then ever but if it doesn't talk to your doctor about possilbe answers

Her not wanting sex probibly has more to do with being too dang tired at the end of the day then it does having her tubes tied. Give her time, having a child and raising a newborn is an exhausting experience.

Oh, she'll be back to normal after a little time. Her hormones are completely out of whack due to the birth, and I'm sure her mind is all over the place as well. Just stick with her, give her some time. It'll be okay. : )

I dont know if this is your first child together, but after i had my first I felt like a mother, like I shouldnt do things like that. I didnt have any problems holding myself back, it was just natural. It took awile for me to get used to being a mom and doing sexual things. Sometimes after having children that happens and it may take awile for her body to get back to normal. The average healing time for a womans body after giving birth is 1 year. But that doesnt mean it will take that long for her sex drive to increase. Just give it time, it will happen there is nothing wrong with her.

Maybe its because she has just had a baby and actually has nothing to do with having her tubes cut!
