pedialyte is really good for sick babies. But if he keeps doing it I would not wait until tomorrow to take him to the dr. babies can dehydrate very quickly, I would take him in to the emergency room tonight!

I just went through that with my baby this weekend (8 months).
The most important thing right now is to keep him hydrated. Get some Pedialyte 45 (anyone but the ones that are red) and if he isn't holding anything in try giving him one spoon-full at a time, a cup or glass. The bottle might give him too much gas and he'll vomit it again.
My doctor prescribed Primperan (12 drops) for the nausea but I don't know if you can buy that without a prescription in the US.
Don't give him any milk or food.
And go to the doctor as soon as you can.
Once he stops vomiting you can try feeding him light things, like apple or pear baby food, gelatin, mashed potatoes or squash, all in small quantities. Not sure if I'd give him squash again though, it stained all his clothes. I hope this helps.
Doc also prescribed Perenterol (Merk) one packet every 12 hours mixed with 1 oz of water. All this medicine he prescribed over the phone but I'm not in the US. But it wouldn't hurt asking the pharmacist.

How terrible for you!!
My little guy went through the same thing when he was around 13 months. I called the doc right away and they said it was probably a virus.
They advised to give small amounts only...I nurse him so I was able to put him to breast for a short time. They also advised Pedialite, again in small amounts so he could keep it down.
Call your Doc as early as you can!! The worst if he should get dehydrated.
I know how awful it is...just hold him, give him little bits of liquid and talk to your Doc as soon as you can!
Good luck!

Stop feeding him, wait a few hours, sips of water, sips of flat sugar 7 up,when that stays down, then move to the brat diet. Bread, rice, applesauce and toast. that will most likely not be tonight. I am sorry for the pain, I remember the upset of not being bale to make it go away. He has a bug. Jello later tomorrow may work. After noon tomorrow must see doc, fearing dehydration. Take care.

Take him to the doctor immediately do not wait for tomorrow. Then get a new pediatrician. They never should have waited to see an eight month old child who is vomitting and has diarrhea. The child is obviously ill and should be treated before he dehydrates.

First - if he's not keeping ANYTHING down AND has diarrhea. Get him to the urgent care before he gets completely dehydrated! If you can't get there right away call your regular doctors number. Most clinics have a 24-hour nurse line that will walk thru the symptoms and tell you what to do and how soon it needs to be done.
Good luck! Hope he gets better soon!

If he goes over 24 hours without keeping liquid down I would worry about dehydration. Try pedialyte, or some lemon water. If he actually isn't keeping anything down after 24-26 hours take him to the doc

Sounds like a stomach virus, but I'm not a doctor. Get the baby to his doctor or the emergency room asap. You don't want him suffering any longer than he has to.
