On the rear bench seat, which location should you (or do you prefer to) latch the rear facing car seat to?

Ex: Driver's side, Center, or Passenger Side?

I do the center.
Here's a nice website with videos on carseat installation. I found it very helpful

Hi there!

Concidering it is an infant seat and rear facing you would definitely want to attach the latch system in teh center seat. It is much safer as another person whom answered before me stated due to a impact possibly occuring on the side of your vehicle your child will have much less of a chance to get injured.

The center is safest, but ours didn't fit very well there and the technician who installed it said that the side positions are still really safe. So, our son is behind the passenger seat. I like it here because I can easily hand things to him or pat his head when he is crying. Also, now he can turn hishead around and see me, which comforts him.

Several places have people who are trained in installing car seats. You should look into it in your area since many people install them incorrectly.

Center if you this is your 1st, and you should be able to center latch, my suv allows me to latch from all 3 back seats. Latching is so great it elimanantes spending 20 min plus getting the belt super tight plus it is safer all around, if you are unsure how to use, call your health or fire department they will usually install & show you how to for free!

The center is the safest if you have one car seat. If you have two kids in car seats, that's a different story.

Center. It's safer because if you wrecked and it was a side impact, you don't want your child on that side..you'd want them in the middle.
