My daughter goes to daycare and I pump milk everyday at the same time. It does not seem as if the oz are changing. How can I produce more milk? She only likes to take the breast in the wee hours of the night or early morning I also give her Enfamil cause she still seems hungry.

On the weekend I try to do just Breast and no formula.

Baby is 3 months today and it’s so hard to loose this weight. I don’t see a difference but others tell me they do. What can I do besides walking? I also nurse (pumping/daycare) so supplements are out of the question?

Her middle name will be Michala.
David's (biblical, author of most Psalms) wife was named Michal and that is where I got the spelling, Michala. Some spell the name like the male name Michael, but I do not want to name her after any Michael. That spelling of course is Michaela. Some also spelll it Mikalah, including the somewhat famous Idol 4 contestant Mikalah Gordon. What do you think and why? Thanks so much!

I think I have somewhat of a problem. My husband and I live 1.5 hrs from our nearest relative and don't have many friends (who aren't busy with their own lives) around us (we moved to a new town 2 years ago). We just had a baby last April and I am worried that he won't develop any social skills being at home with mommy all day. My husband works 12 shifts and isn't home as much as I am obviously. I don't have a car that I can drive (we have a standard and I only drive automatic) so all I can do is take him for walks, and talk to the occasional store clerk or passerby. How harmful will this be to his personality? Should we get a new car so I can take him to see his relatives and play groups more often? Help please!

I have read a lot of things on not allowing children under 2 to watch television. But is it ok if you watch it with them? If it is age appropriate? I mean I'm obviously not letting my son watch bad shows, but his dad likes to let him watch sports with him. I am so confused over this because I don't want my son to have ADD or something when he starts school. I mean we play baby games all day with him, isn't occasional TV alright? By the way he is only 6 months old. He really likes Baby Einstein so I leave it on when he plays, sometimes he watches sometimes not. What does everyone else think about this?

I am breastfeeding my 3 week old and sometimes she gets fussy like she wants to suck on my breast but not nurse. Iv'e tried the NUK newborn pacifiers; silicone and rubber. She hates them. When I give her a paci during one of her fits it pushes her over the edge. Is there a paci more like a womans breast? I tried giving her my breast but shes sucks for a few secs and pushes it away. I don't know what else to do.

My Bennie is 3 and half weeks, his feeding pattern changes regurlarly. I have a fast let-down, he sometimes feeds for 40 min and most often only 12 min or sometimes less. Sometimes he feeds every 2 hours and often every half hour. This changes constantly.

We just had our 1st child and I have been doing everything, fixing meals, bottles, laundry, house cleaning, caring for the child, while my wife recovers. I have now had to go back to work and now on the second day she gets upsetr cause she had to get up with the child at 330. What do I do?

Understand this is not the 1st time she has acted like a spoiled brat, and I understand I have helped by taking care of her since we came home from the hospital, but it is time for her to grow up and realize it is not about her.

I am near my wits end, HELP!

my newborn daughter's head always falls to one side. if it is moved, it goes right back. if she is placed in any position, she will move to accomodate her head to that side. she seems to constantly be looking to her right, and now the back of her head appears to be getting flat. is her stiffened neck or tendencies to lean to one side a possible symptom of anything more serious than a flat head? and if her head is flat this young, would it return to normal as she grows?
