gee. Relax!
he is 6 months old! Socialising is nice and good, but before children can play a bit together, which does not really happen before 12 months at the very least (18 months is better) there is really nothing to worry about. Hopefully you have registered him in a creche nearby, for later I mean?
as far as I'm concerned, and I have 4 kids, I find that people seem to worry much too much about the socialising of their kids (which tends to happen by itself), and not enough about what their kids learn in school (less and less).

Relax. You're giving a 6 month old all the socialization he/she needs. They dont really play WITH others until around 2 years. You can get a second car to visit relatives, that would be wonderful for all of you!

Calm down, did your pediatrician bring this fact to your attention? Do not pay attention to those tidbits telling you what your child should know or do by a certain age. You will know if your kid is struggling... I was also in that scenario only our family is 12 hrs away. Go to the park if its walkable, take public transportation, just to see the town, google or whatever local play dates, post something in your community that you are willing to start a play group if one doesn't exist.....He will be fine, good luck!!!!

Check for local playgroups or Mom's and Tots activiites at the local library. There are swim lessons too. Look around your neighbourhood for anyone else with little kids to get together with. Invite your relatives over to your house. You probably need more company than the baby. Kids don't socialize at this early stage anyway. They can be in a room with ohter kids but don't interact.

Dont worry he is with the most important person in his life- his mum just make sure you talk and read to him so his speech developes and play games appropriate for his age so his motor skills develop. The rest will sort itself out as he gets older.

No need to get a new car. Just walk to a park. Most stay-at-home moms need an outlet, so they take their kids to the park. Take a big blanket and lay it on the ground and bring toys and snacks and something to drink and lay out with him. Other parents will come by and have their own kids in tow. No worries.

Sounds everyday to me. Spoon feeding is a huge adjustment for both one in all you- merely be affected man or woman. i imagine you've better effective consequences although in case you feed him in a highchair instead of his walker. His walker is an area for him to play. in case you get him used to the very undeniable truth that his highchair is an area to eat, then he will likely concentration better on ingesting even as he's there.
