at that age babies has no regular sleeping patterns and it is completely normal. But if she is awake all night like from 10 pm to 6 am then that is not normal. They are usually awake for 2 to 3 hrs and then sleeps again. They are also hungry every 3 hrs. so she will tend to be awake to ask (crying that is) for milk. Sometimes they awake up when they poop or when they are wet. Be patient. when she turns 18 months her biological clock will start to functions and chances are there will be no late night intrusion and you can sleep tight.

For now the best way to deal with it is to sleep went she is so you can have amply rest. Babies are a lot of work but it is well worth it.

When my baby was 3 months old we had a routine for him that he got use to and had no choice but to go to sleep because he was so use to it. We would play with him for awhile then give him a nice little bath and lotion him down real good (get the night time lotion and mix it with vasline, the say the vaseline soothes baby's) and then he would get his bottle and be ready for sleepy bye. Try to fix up a nice little routine and see how baby does.

Good Luck
let me know how it goes.

P.S. That won't make her sleep through the night but it will let her sleep better. She won't sleep through the night for awhile. My little boy is 8 months almost 9 and still wakes up at least 1 time but that is at 6a.m. when he's up for the rest of the day, but you have a while.

She's only 3 months, she's not going to sleep through the night for a while. Get used to waking up in the middle of the night to feed and change her. When she sleeps through the night without waking up for a feeding or a change of diaper, you'll know it. Until then, there's not much you can do for now. Goodluck!!!

Some children don't sleep in the night and sleep in the daytime. Donot put on the lights bright since they get attracted to it, use a '0' volt bulb. Neednot worry, the sleeping habit will change soon.

Every baby has different needs She will let you know when she is ready to sleep longer at night With my two month old son he sleeps at night for about four to eight hours What my boyfriend and I do with him is make feeding time as warm and stress free as we can for him We swaddle him in a warm blanket and give him a bottle burping him after he has finished half the bottle Then we hold him and gentle pat his back to make sure he got all his burping done and gently rock him in our arms until he falls asleep which for him is about a half hour later Good luck with you baby girl!!!

a 3 month old will usually not sleep through the night. she'll wake up hungry a few times. the best thing to do is get up and feed her, change her diaper, burp her, keep her calm and you should get some rest. give it time. before you know it, she'll be sleeping through the night. i use to nurse mine in bed when she was young and i could nod off while she was eating. good luck and hang in there!

Try to not let her sleep so much during the day. You can also time her feedings to your bedtime so that she will go to sleep at the time you want her too. Make sure she is sleeping somewhere very peaceful and comfortable for her. That should help. Goodluck :)

In times past it was common practice to give a small amount of whiskey as a kind of tranquilizer. A little dab of nyquil would do the same thing, cherry flavor is best. But dont do that unless you consult with your pediatrition.

Make sure that she gets outside fresh air every day, dont use Nyquil or alcohol. And agree with hang in there, just when you think you cant take it any more, she'll start sleeping.
