ok well i dont live with my parents any more((im 14)) but when ever i was sick and would throw up, they would make me eat it or i would be beaten, is this a common punishment, or is beyond cruel?? i think ite mean, but not completely syre, thanks to the people who answer!!! =}

She's in 6th grade. 11 years old. Has ADD.
She doesn't listen to music, watch the movies or read any of the books or magazines other kids in her class do. She dresses, well, the way my mom wants her to. She doesn't pick out her own clothes. She still plays with dolls. And knows nothing about society. She's afraid to talk on the phone. She panics over the stupidest things (ie: chosing what to wear, what to eat, if her meat has a little fat on it, doing homework, ect, ect). I mean PANICS!! Thowing fits and screaming and everything.
I want to help her get with it, but I don't know how. I'm 15. What can I do??

My parents left me home alone and I was grounded so I was not suppose to leave the house, but my friends came over and wanted to go sleding and snowboarding. I knew I shouldn't go but I did anyway. I didn't leave them a note or anything which was pretty bad. We went and time went by fast and before i knew it it was 5pm. I started heading home and on they way back my mom pulled up and saw us and said she thought i got kidnapped and they had been looking for me for over an hour. She was really mad. I got in the car and she took me home. She lectured me the entire way home about how she concerned about my safety and really mad about leavnig when i was grounded.

We got home and i took off all my snow gear and stuff and i headed into the family room and all of the sudden my mom gabbed me by my shirt and said that i was getting a spanking for what I did. I told her I was 13 and way too big to be punished like that. She then pulled me into my room and closed the door. She then started lecturing me about safety and not listening and a bunch of stuff. I hadn't got a spanking since I was 11 and I didn't think she would do it. I told her I will do better and said I was sorry for sneaking out. I really wasn't sorry thow.

She said that she was glad I was sorry but it was't going to get me out of getting punished. She told me take my pants down. There was no way I was going to do this so I went for the bedroom door to get the heck out of there. She grabbed me by the shirt before I could get out and pulled me over to the bed and sat down. I tried to get away from her but couldn't. She got my jeans down and put me on her lap and started hitting me. I tried to stop her and stand up and pull my jeans back up. I told her to let go of me and told her she was crazy. She then locked my legs and pulled my arms behind my back so I couldn't move or anything. I was yelling at her and she pulled down my boxers and i told her no. She then started hitting me again and it hurt so much i didn't think i would cry but i did. I told her i would be good and finally she stopped. I cried for 10 minutes.

See, there's this boy at school, and I don't really know who he is. My husband and I are never on our own. I'm glad they like being at home but there's never anywhere for us to sit. Cups are everywhere. The noise and bickering are horrendous and now the boyfriends come as well. The puppy is being wound up. There's football on the telly and I am at screaming pitch. In fact my husband and I end up going to Asda or go upstairs and lie on the bed. It's making us teasy with each other. I don't want to drive my kids away. (We chose to have them after all). How do you cope with this please?

My son brought his semester 1 report card results here is what he got-
Communications :Exam-69/72 Final Mark:85%
Civics/History: Exam-65/71 Final Mark:81%
Hitsory- Exam 99/100 Final Mark:94%
Computer and infro science- Exam Mark100/100 Final Mark -100%

I am proud of all theses marks but especally with the computer science.... I admit that all his life me and his father have told him that he is pathetic and wont be able to achive anything in ife because of his previous marks... And also we wanted him to be a docter when he grows up, but he kept telling us no im going to be a computer programer.... So my question is what should i buy for my son to tell him that i am really proud of his work... his father is going to buy him an ipod and i dont know what can i give him plz help
