Should i tell my form tutor about my mate or not?

my best mate cuts herself and we have all seen her do and have seen the massive scars on her wrist we are all afraid to tell a teacher about it wat do you think we should do

the thing is though my i'm worried that before they can do anything my mate will find out and kill her self self so she doesn't get into trouble

You should definitely tell someone, an adult that you trust. It sounds like your mate definitely needs help. I understand how you are feeling about not wanting to tell on her, but she will not be in trouble, she needs to get help for her problem. You will feel better once you get it off of your chest. Whatever you do PLEASE tell someone before she seriously hurts herself.

i just got over this whole phase with one of my best friends who i was currently going out with but our relationship was rocky. Well he used to cut himself and stuff and he startied doing it again. i talked to him abut it alot and made sure he knew that i did care. i threatened to go to a teacher to get help and he ended up going to the consuler himself not only for cutting but for smoking. its not as easy as it sounds to just snitch on him but you have to talk to her and then if that doesnt work threaten or talk to your other friends and mybe there sibling..someone you trust. it takes time and think before you act.
