But him some nikes, jordans, air force ones, or bathing apes. They last FOREVER.or until he grows them out.And since there expensive you might want to buy him a bigger size than his foot actually is.

P.S all these shoes are made by nike co. Which is a multi-billion dollar company.

If these shoes don't last for him the best thing I know for him to do is go Barefoot.

P.s Fila should work too.

You were not clear.

Do you mean trainers or black shoes?

You need to think what they do with them,... ie sports, football, climbing, running etc.

So Id suggest

Trainers that look like shoes.

Also ones where the bottoms appear sewn onto the tops not simply stuck on.

And wide toes and wide bases...

Squash shoes are better for sudden movement.

Or as mentioned skateboard shoes.

Usually suade/materal is stronger then leather and may be machine washable. Look into that.

Also ones with underfoot arch support not flat inside

You dont say if your 14 year old is a boy or a girl,if they have to walk to and from school.Boys do play football at break and lunch times,my daughter would walk on the back of them to get a new pair after a few weeks.FASHION POLICE ARE IN THE PLAYGROUNDS. LOL

most all shoes are cheeply made i like nike's though they have always lasted me along time, if i was you buy her one more pair a nice pair like Nike's there not that expensive $30 - $50 depends were you go and tell her you wont buy her any more shoes so sh has to keep these pair in good shape. and mean it when you say it. shes not taking care of them if you have to keep buying new ones. tell her to not walk in grass or dirt that will keep them clan longer and buy a cheap walmart pair for her to have to wear when she comes home. if she chooses to act like a young child treat her like one. what ever shes doing shes playing to ruff im 20 and still have shoes from when i was a freshman in high school

Untill they get out of the destructive stage, I would buy cheaper. The problem as long as you are buying descent shoes is not the shoe, but the wearer. Being rough oon any shoe will destroy it.

I always get the cheaper brands and they have always lasted a year... perhaps ask your son what he does and to respect them a bit more, but then again boys will be boys !

kids are naturally hard on shoes at that age, because they're very active. my oldest son would sometimes need shoes every couple of weeks, and i tried all kinds of brands of shoes! good luck!!
