ok well i dont live with my parents any more((im 14)) but when ever i was sick and would throw up, they would make me eat it or i would be beaten, is this a common punishment, or is beyond cruel?? i think ite mean, but not completely syre, thanks to the people who answer!!! =}

It is very very abusive. Is it a cultural thing? Are you from a country where parents do this for a reason?
That is horrific. I am sorry you went through that. Now that you know it is wrong, you know not to do it if you have your own children someday.

No dear that was not a common response to your being ill, and
in fact it was a symptom of your parent's mental illness.
I am glad you no longer live in that situation, although I know that
though it may seem strange to some you more than likely miss
your parents.
I hope that you are growing stronger in the belief that nothing you did made you deserve such punishment, and that you deserve to
be loved AND love yourself. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT!!! NONE OF IT!! Good luck and take care of yourself.

That is beyond cruel....kids dont mean to throw up and to make them eat it that could make you sicker. That is just wrong your not a dog they shouldnt do that to you! Thank god your not living with them anymore!!!

that makes me angery and sad cuz i was so punshid when i was young my parenats,they boil water pour it on me, the first time i told dad a man touched me wrong he tied me up threw in our shed left ther for 2 days without food or water, he raped me when i was 9 years old he is dead now i can talk about him.when he raped me he had knife cut my leg open 50 stiches and broke my wriste infront my mom..or she would get killed too. just a small peice of my history i made it i am strong so will you.
