My 12 year old daughter has been very moody and kind of withdrawn lately, I feel that something is wrong, so I asked her and she said I am upset with you because you are so strict, she is on the computer chating with friends alot, but I will not allow her to have a my space, nor a cell phone. Recently I told both of my children they are 12 and 14 that if they will potty train our dogs they can get a cell phone, she has tried, but so far very little success. She is very big on nagging and nagging to get what she wants, do you think she is just going into a Mood swing because this time I am staying so firm with her? normally I let her wear me down and she gets what she wants, and she knows that. Please I would like to hear from both young teens and parents. Thank you.

ive known him for a few yrs already...i really like him...im coming out in my friend''s quinceanera with him....my friend asked him if he had a gf....he said no but he was gonna ask sum1 out the day b4 but he didnt cuz she had a bf....the next day she calls him 2 c if he was coming 2 practice, he said no but then asked if i was going and then she said yes, so he said he would go...im really confused right now...i know 4 a fact that he used 2 like me or maybe he still does....im trying 2 tell him within our practice time thingy thing....i REALLY like him ALOT!!

My friend from school is having her Bat-Mitzvah, we're not like, Best friends, but we're good friends. One really rich girl is giving her Uggs, but no one is going all out like that. I saw a nice suede bag from Mudd at Sears, and i would tuck a nice note and $20 in it. I'm not sure if this is a good gift. What do you think? i can't really spend over $50 dollars on it. Please give me some good ideas, because i wan to give her a gift that is sweet and memorable.

I'm almost 16 and there is a boy at school that every girl would absolutely kill for. I see him for more than just looks, however. We have a lot in common from grades to the same preferences in music, to hobbies. I have a hard time opening up to people and he does as well. We've each only had one previous relationship that did not last very long. I've done as much as I can to get to know him (talked, spent time together outside of school etc.) but he just wi;; not loosen up. I'm afraid he's just closing himself off ocmpletely from people and he's not being his true self. I know that because I do the exact same thing. Should I continue just talking to him or should I just take the initiative and kiss him and see how he reacts to it? What's the worse that could really happen? Or is it better just to tell him? It's really difficult to explain. He's just a mystery and I can't figure him out, but I'm attracted to everything about him. Maybe I should just back off. I don't know anymore

ok since my parents dont really care about me i have been out and about. i go to parties every night and drink A LOT. this happened before when i was 12 and i got preganent with twins now i am preganent agin for 7 month first i though i was judt getting fat but now i know for sure i am not. my parents gave made me keep the twins but really i gave it up for adoption. but now i want to keep this baby even though the father just ran out on me. plz dont tell me to put this baby up for adoption because i wanna keep her.

Hi there, My 17 year old son is fascinated with Thailand and wants to do a 4 week holiday from this gap year company. I'm a bit afraid to allow him to go as he would be going alone and meeting the folk in thailand itself. he would have spare time to do as he pleases and i'm worried he wont be safe alone. there will be others doing this gap holiday but obviously he wont be childminded as such.
Am I being too over protective?
He will hate us if we don't let him go and can we stop him anyway? If we dont let him go now he will go when he's 18 anyway without our permission,

I love my new little girl whose name is Candice Michelle and she has beutiful blue eyes and blonde hair! She was born prematturly. This life of mine could not get better! Although i did threaten to punch my boyfriend during the delivery, which he didnt care at all! Ok, so in gym class in high school we have to swim. I cant use tampons due to medical reasons, so i am stuck in a dilemma whenever i have my period. I am allowed to sit out once or twice a month with a parents note for my teacher, and i have to make up swimming on my free time (which is such a drag). So I dont have a problem with exuses for my teacher, but what i DO have a problem with is exuses for my peers. Whenever they ask me why i am sitting out on the bench, i have to make up dumb exuses like, uh....i have an ear infection... or, oh, i forgot my bathing suit. Pretty soon they'll think i am extremely stupid... or they will be suspicious of something. And i dont want to be too mean or touchy by saying "its none of your buisness" because that would be kind of mean and also suspisous. I just don't like my privacy being violated, and i refuse to tell them the truth because i dont want the whole class knowing, i dont thing most people would! What are some good ideas for exuses? thanks!
