yes it is normal. dont listen to the girls that say ''no its gross'' because ya know what? a lot of girls even say that when they do actually do it. just dont want to admit it. everyone i believe does at some point in time. they realize that touching feels good, so continue to touch themselves. before they even know what they are doing. its not wrong at all.

heck there are girls that are 12 and 13 that are having babies!!! so i say masterbation is definitely a good alternative to having sex actually!!!!

The answer above is wrong. As long as you keep your hands clean, or any objects you use(lol). And wash thoroughly when in the shower, because it is true you could get one, but if you're taking the proper precautions, it's a minimal risk. Masturbation is healthy, very healthy. I believe you should be unashamed of it. I used to be, but I've come to realize that it's a very healthy way to get to know my body, and what I like. I also found a lot of self confidence, and feel that when I lose my virginity, I'll be ready, emotionally as well as physically. Just be careful, don't hurt yourself, and you should always clean any objects you use, that is very important, I once umm..this is embarassing haha, but I once tried to stick a perfume bottle up there..and it sprayed...and omg it stung soooo bad! But yeah, just be careful! And don't be ashamed, everyone does it at some point or another.

To some it may seem a bit early, however she is in the puberty stage and things ar changing, she's going to be curious. It is perfectly healthy to do so.

I think it is better that you masturbate than have sex, at least at that age. She's just exploring her territory so to speak, finding what she is and is not comforable with. You shouldn't be alarmed.

But don't scold her about it. It will only make her feel bad, as if she did something wrong when she hasn't. Maybe it's time to remind her or tell her about "The Talk" just as a precaution.

Yes, we all masterbate, but many won't admit it though.
Go ahead and enjoy your body, talk with other girls,
at sleepovers etc. and find out what they like, to help you discover all your privates can do...

yes i believe that masturbation is part of life and everyone and one time or another in their life will do it. Why not get an early start?

I started masturbation at the age of 10 so I see no problem with adolescent masturbation
