My husband and I stopped using forms of birth control 1 1/2 years ago. We just started actually trying to become pregnant 2 months ago. We're both young and healthy. I'm becoming alarmed about my fertility. Is there some reason why we haven't conceived before now? Does anyone have any tips? How long did it take others to become pregnant?

me and my girl has found out that she is two months pregnant...even though we know that,...we had sex twice and i sqirtted in her twice...is it true that once a woman is pregnant,,,no matter how many times you sqirt in her,,,she cannot get pregnant twice becuzz it takes one sperm to get to the egg and protects the egg no matter how many sperms there are. and when i had sex with her i was not rough...i be as gentle as a person who never had it before...

We know that we have everything it takes to have a baby; godparents(for babysitting) ,jobs, money, a home, clothes, food, support from our family and friends, ect. We know that we are emotionally, physcially, and socially ready to have a baby. We've also taken parenting classes. So when would be the best time to have a baby?

I am really hoping to be able to give birth without an epidural and if possible, any other medical pain relief. This is my first pregnancy so I have no frame of reference of my own... I just don't like the idea of the epidural and the possible side effects - also it increases the chances of needing an episiotomy, another thing I really want to avoid if possible. Again, I was reading that natural tears generally heal easier and faster.

I was reading about HypBirth - where you do relaxation exercises that reduce the pain felt during labour. Anyone given birth using any hypnosis techniques? Any opinions on giving birth without pain relief please?

This is their 8th annual show. It's supposed to bring awareness about all the children in foster care. I was wondering if anybody ever watched the previous ones. It looks really great because it is spotlighting stories on children adoptd out of foster care. Many of them are older children and teenagers. I really believe that if society saw more positive aspects of fostering older children, then people would not be so afraid of it. All you ever hear about is how hard it is adopting older children. You never hear anything positive. I hope this helps bring awareness about foster care. That would be really good. What do ya'll think?

Well, another 'depressed' woman on drugs to treat her 'condition' killed a child, her 'dream come true' according to authorities.

This woman was already the mother to two biological children, the police call the violent act an 'isolated incident'.

I had unprotected sex a few months ago, silly i know. That month i came on my period, a few days late but it was very heavy, a lot heavier than normal, so i presumed i couldnt be pregnant. The next month i came on my period on time, but it was very light. I had had a fever during this period to thought maybe it had been lighter because i had been unwell. The next period i had was again late, but quite painful and heavy. Now i am 4days late for my period and have very tender breasts and have been very tired lately. Could i be pregnant? I have never had such irregular periods and am worried i could be pregnant as someone told me you could have periods during pregnancy. I havent had any nausea and dont think i have gained any weight-should i be worried?

Im trying to decide what I want to do. My own mother swore on breastfeeding and I know all the things they say are benefits to it (yet tons of formula raised children are 100% healthy) and everyone calls you 'selfish' if you choose not to but I really dont want to. I feel as if my body my choice and that I will be able to enjoy feeding my baby a gazillion times more through a bottle.

I have a 10 1/2 month old daughter, who won't take steps on her own. She stands and cruises around furniture while holding on, but when we put her in the center of the room and let go of her hand, she just stands there then eventually sits down. She doesn't want to take any steps unless someone is holding onto her. Is this normal? My mom said I was walking by myself at 10 months of age. I'm afraid my daughter is behind!

We're new to canada and me and my wife and I are having our first baby! She's 2 months in and we've finally been referred to an OB/GYN. But now they're saying we can't get an appointment until around January when she's 3 months in!

We want to get a check up ASAP because from what we've read, isn't the 1st trimester the most important part of the pregnancy? we just want to make sure everything is ok.
