I am pregnant with baby #4...you would think I would remember this..lol. I just feel it's to early to be feeling really strong ( they make me feel Iike I have to pee...sorry tmi) braxton hicks I will have 2 or 3 at a time maybe 3 times a day. I had to get up 3 time at a movie this weekend to go the bathroom in about 20 minutes because of these. Is this normal?

BTW...I do know you have these all through pregnancy...just not noticed. I just think these are too strong for 20 weeks. They dont hurt, just take my breath away at times.

I get them pretty strong starting in the late first trimester. Every one is different. In first and second pg. they started STRONG at 30 weeks. In third, they started at 20 weeks. In 4th at 13 weeks and this pg. at 14 weeks.

I say that if you take a warm bath, drink 2 glasses full of water, and lie down they should chill out!

well the braxton hicks are just getting your body ready for the real thing but i never had to use the bathroom when i had them, it just feels like tight pressure on the very bottom of my tummy. but if youre unsure, you should prob call your dr. Goodluck!!

It doesn't really sound good if you are having them that strong and that often so early. But with every woman it's different. Your best bet would be to call your doctor about them and see what he thinks. They could be a sign of preterm labor and it's always best to be safe about it. Go see your doctor...you have nothing to lose from it. Good luck!

You actually get them from 6 weeks on, but you cant feel them until about half way through your pregnancy.
