I like to be naked all the time, but my parents taught the belief that people should be ashamed of their naked bodies, but I have a different belief it is that nobody should be ashamed of their nude body or showing it either.

If your child 17 or younger told you they were gay or interested in same sex relationships...what would you do or how would you react? How about if you mistakenly found out?

My son is incredibly smart, but he is below average in his academics. He is behind in reading, writing and his listening skills are not what they should be. We know it's not because of his intelligence. His own teacher has told us this.

But he is ADD (so is his dad and most of his uncles). He studies things he is very interested in, but could care less about the things he doesn't. Reading doens't interest him, so he doesn't do it. He writes some letters backwards (we are having him tested for dyslexia, just in case). And just zones out in class at school.

Can you suggest anything I can do to help him overcome his issues. I'm not totally against drugs, but dont want to use them. I dont want him hiding behind his disease and using it as an excuse for not performing to a level he is capable of- if that makes any sense. He's only 5.

So what can I do? Any books you can recommend or websites that can give me information on dealing with an ADD child?

just wondered what others thought as i stayed at home with my daughter untill she went to school as if i had returned to work i would have being working to pay child care! as we wouldnt get help with costs as my partner earns too much (things were still tight without me working though) - but i'm sooo glad i stayed at home she is very advanced for her age loving and caring! - i had a few people comment at me saying children are better off in nurserys - but i cant understand that comment at all - example of this is my friends child has gone to nursery since he was 3mnths old! he is a month older than my daughter - he still wears nappies and his speach is poor! - i dont see the point in people having children just to shove them in a nursey all day every day! i do understand that some people dont have the choice - and sorry if i've gone on just wondered wht others think

We are looking for an 'unusual' first name that fits well with the middle name Tess and last name Hudson....

Some ideas so far as Ruby, Elisha and Amelia.

Does anyone have some suggestions?

Hi there,

I'm 40 weeks pregnant already, and I was having my contractions this morning at 5am until now. It comes and goes for 5 minutes. Then the last 3 hours the minutes became random, like 10 minutes apart, then 5 minutes apart each contractions. My water hasn't broken till now but I have had my bleeding already (show).
I called the hospital, they told me that there is no point to go to hospital at this stage as it must be 3 minutes apart between contractions for one hour consistently.

They told me I could be in contractions for hours still or even days! Can't I be induced or the water being broken earlier? I couldn't imagine to be like this for days with contractions every 5-8 minutes!

help...!!

I am 36 weeks along and my husband and I have agreed on the name Kenzie for our little girl. However, I have gotten some comments from people saying that it should be MacKenzie since that's more popular. I really don't like the "Mac" though. What do you think?

My daughter is 6 old. I was told to keep changing up her baby foods because to give her one food too long would cause food allergies. Only, she is an incredibly picky eater. She is breastfed and simply will not take breastmilk from a bottle and as for formula, forget it. She will drink regular lactose free milk and apple juice. And as far as her food goes, I have narrowed down the few foods she does like and have been trying gerbers mixed puree's. What i'm worried about is making her allergic to different fruits and veggies. For example. Banana is her favorite, so i tried banana strawberry apple and she liked that and now we've move to something else. But i'm afraid to try anything else with bananas in it. So, will it cause allergies to apple juice, lactose free milk, or any other fruit if they are in puree's if I change them from week to week?

My daughter, 12, going on 30, has not exactly been disciplined well. I treat her like a friend. It just kind of happens. I know that is not ideal. Now she has no respect for me and treats me horribly and doesn't listen. How do I start from scratch here and get back on track? Please tell me it's not too late.

I have a five month old boy and my pediatrician told me he's not gaining enough weight because my pregnancy has stopped my milk supply. I have been pregnant for about a month. And my baby has not gained a single ounce in that time. She said that my body stopped producing the hormone that produces milk because it would cause labor. I have currently switched to bottles to keep from starving my baby but am trying to find a way to breast feed again. If you have any advice please help.

Is it moral for a couple to adopt a child, raise it for a few months and then return it back to the center because one of the parents was not able to get along with the child well?

a woman was sitting in the OPEN inside a window display at a store in the local mall. She was facing the shoppers outside the store, but admittedly there were mannequins spaced in front of her. The manager of the store politely informed her that there were specific areas where she could feed her baby and further advised her that both men and woman and girls and boys came into the store. The manager was very nice about it. But the woman protested , saying very loudly that her baby was 'hungry' and that she was going to feed her! the Manager again asked her to please go to the facility he'd told her about.
Well, the woman pulled her baby from her breast, lifted her breast and then told the manager that she would 'have your job"
That was a week ago.
Nothing happened yet with the manager's job, but didn't she handle it properly?

I know this is an oft reapeated question, but I could use some suggestions on unique baby names for boys and girls. I have a daughter named Hazel Amor, and a son named Asher Isaiah. Nothing too weird like Moon Unit, but nothing common. If it is in the top 200 names it is too common by my standards. Thanks
