Our daughter just turned a year old and we have not received a birth certificate for her. We can't remember if the hospital even had us sign the papers to get one since we were rushed in and out so quickly. How do we get an original birth certificate for her?

Im a 16 yr old guy and Ive never brought girls to my house before. Do you think it'll be alright if I just invite some of my friends (who are really hot girls around my age) to my house without saying anything to my parents?
Ive never asked them for their opinions before since most of my friends are guys, and I don't want my mom thinking I have girlfriends. My dad never said anything about inviting girls over either.

Okay me and my partner had intercourse (unprotected - pullout method) about two weeks ago. On the 14 she was supposed to have her period, but she didn't. So, she took a pregnancy test. And she came out negative. She took the test on the 16, yesterday. And today, she had some milky discharge. And still she hasn't gotten her period. She's been worrying alot, and I know that if you think alot, stress or worry your period might come a day or two late.

Help? We're young and confused, possibly stupid.

I know this is probably a dumb question, but i really don't know.

My baby's due Feb 2nd & since we don't have insurance we are paying for the hospital bill, however i thought i had to pay the whole bill when my baby was born & that if i didn't i wouldn't be able to take my baby home, lol.

i now know that we can make monthly payments for as long as we need to, but will the hospital keep my baby's birth certificate until we pay the bill completely?

I called and asked but the lady who answered was INCREDIBLY rude & i regret not asking her name.. She was a real b*tch!! We can pay but it would be easier if we had more time than Feb 2nd, considering that we don't know how much it will be.. Ugh.. ok this last paragraph was just me being mad..

Thanx For your answers & for listening =]

God Bless

either financially or physically, and the child passes on that the parent who was there has the right to ask for financial help from the parent who was not? Do you think the absent parent should be offended by the request?

*Not my situation.

I cant remember the last time i had my period...i think it was the last week of november...but it could have been the week before that. I had unprotected sex a few times in november (a handful) and once on dec 8th. He did not cumm inside me...but still. I feel like it's too early to test, esp because i had a period sort of recently. Do i just wait? would i be expereincing symptoms? I was very gassy and bloated last week...but i've been eating a lot as well.

I was looking at the top 1000 baby names on SSA.org, and was amazed by the sheer amount of -aiden names:

Aiden, Aidan, Ayden, Aden, Aidyn, Aydin - 26,745 boys born, making it number one.

Jaden, Jayden, Jaiden, Jaydin, Jadon, Jaeden, Jaydon -17,990 boys born, making it 12th in popularity.

Jayden, Jadyn, Jaden, Jaidyn, Jaiden - 5,033 girls born, making it 53rd.

Caden, Kaden, Kaiden, Kayden, Cayden, Kaeden, Kadin, Caiden - 11,646 boys born

457 female Kayden's, 17th for boys, 624th for girls.

Hayden, Haiden, Haden -6,843 boys born, making it 63rd.

Hayden -754 girls, making it 416th.

Zayden, 871st for boys.

So, if you add up all of these, it makes anything rhyming with Aiden more than number one 63,448 boys and 6,244 girls. There were only 24,418 boys named Jacob, and 21,118 girls named Emily. It's not that they're bad names (well, Zayden might be), but why do people still call them 'unique'? They're literally the most common name out there now.

My daughter has been naughty all year. The last few weeks, I keep reminding her if she is bad that Santa will not bring her any presents. She just shrugs like it's no big deal.
She has acted out several times in her after school program in the last few months which has led me to being called out of work each time. We also had a meeting on how we can help her not act out so that we don't have to keep going through this.
This whole acting out problem of hers is making me loose out on hours & pay. Plus she has been suspended for a day as well, so once again another day out of work. Now every day she dosen't go to her afterschool program, or she has to be picked up early I still have to pay them.
I'm a single mom of 2 kids my daughter is 7 and my son is 4. Now with all the time I have lost out of work & still paying for her child care has put me now in a tight financial spot because I haven't worked as much as I should have. I am thinking about not putting ANY presents under the tree

I Have Noticed The Last Past Few Days That My Two Year Old Daughter Has Body Odor. I'm Not Going To Sit Here And Say That We Give Her A Bath As Much As We Should Because We Live Busy Lives (No Excuse I Know) But None The Less She Atleast Gets A Bath Once Every Other Day. Anyway I Tryed Giving Her A Bath And Within A Few Hours Of Playing (Not Even Rough Play) She Started To Get BO Like A Grown Adult. Sometimes It's So Bad That We Can't Even Stand To Be In The Same Room With Her Without Giving Her A Bath. She Is A Normal Child And Eats Foods That Are Doctor Approved. Fruits, Veggies, Juice, Water And Anything Else That Normal Children Eat. I Just Don't Understand What I Should Do. I Have Read Some Other Peoples Questions About Other Issues Like This One. No I Have Not Tryed Baby Powder. It Just Seems Odd That A Child So Young Could Have This Issue. Any Comments And Insite Would Help. Thanks.

Last night it was midnight at night and my 4 yr old daughter still was refusing to go to bed. Finally My husband gave her one swat on the but with his hand. It didnt leave a mark or anything but today my daughter went to prescholl and told her teacher that her daddy spanked her for not going to bed. I'm so scared we are going to have child protective services her investigating us!!! Like I said it was only one swat with the hand and it didnt leave a mark but still none the less I'm freaked out cause my daughter told her teacher. Should I be worried???

a few days ago me and my dad had a debate though his pionts are better than mine i still believe that kids should be able to dress freely but they should really enforce the dress code. my dad sais that kids should wear button down shirts and slacks or a skirt. so they can tell if a drug dealer or someone who doesnt belong to the school is in it. and if a teacher tells them their clothes is in apropiate then the parent turns around and sais"why are you looking at my child like that? " and then the teachers is fired.

The day after when I should have ovulated, my boobs started getting sore. Two days after that the headaches started. The symptoms I have now are sore boobs ( the whole boob, not just my nipple) pains in boobs, prominent blue veins on my chest, slight cramping and a little spotting, nauseated unless I eat throughout the day, peeing a lot. My period is not due until 12/24, but this started 12/10.

I was five days late last month, after I had gotten a slight positive HPT, and bled my normal amount and days.

Is it possible that I am still pregnant? Or that I got pregnant right away? Would I have ovulated five days earlier than expected because I was late last month?

Any thoughts or opinions would be great!!
