i remember for our first child we narrowed the list down to 30 names, 15 for a boy and same for a girl, trying to get the list down from that seemed almost impossible. In the end we got it down to four names for each and thought we would wait and see. When she was born we chose a name that wasn't even in our original list at all, so I am hearing you!

There is absolutley nothing wrong with wanting a unique name! I like the names you picked out, none of them are hideous. Just some has different taste, and instead of people accepting that, they want to be rude and made hideous comments. I like Elizabeth Rachael (though my spelling preference would be Elisabeth Rachelle) for the girl, it sounds so beautiful and classic.

I just LOVE Vaughn Alexander for the boy, it's very strong sounding. Plus Vaughn is such a nice and uncommon name.

Elizabeth Rachael is great. I would just tweak it to Elizabeth Rachel. I also love Jane and Nicholas.
Elysia, if I must pick one; this is a name I could do without. If you use Rhyan or Rhylan, please at least skip the H.

are these last names like alexander or like etra part in mary-kate? but whatever i like Chole Jane, Hallie Rachael ,elizbeth is good but my frined got teezed about the queen so u can keep that and get a nick ame lizze,boys cole alexander

Kids get teased a lot, a traditional, generic name is best. You don't want your child coming home crying, because he/she was teased relentlessly. Think about the child, not the name.
