That depends on the age of the girls. For baby girls born in 2006, this was the spelling by percent:
Makayla (54.3%), Mikayla (21.6%), Michaela (9.6%), Mckayla (4.9%), Mikaela (4.3%), Makaila (2.7%), Micaela (2.6%)
Gabriella (64.0%), Gabriela (36.0%)
Michaela is the old standard spelling. Makayla was not even in the top 1,000 baby names until 1989, but it surpassed the Michaela in popularity in 1998.

Gabriella is usualy the only way, sometimes its one "L"
But with Mik-k-la . Good luck. I've seen so many different spellings, its maddening
Mikayla - I think is the most common.
I have also seen
McKayla, Mickayla, Mikeighla, Makalya, Michayla, Michaela (2nd most common ive seen)
The Mik sound is alsway the one people mess around with.
All Mikayla's are of American origin, I think people are just having fun with phonics.
Most Mikayla's are younger, (still in elementry school, it is a newer spelling) All Michaela's I know are older like in high school or beyond. I think that is the traditional spelling. Someone already said that on here too. Make your spelling depending on the age of person.
. I don't think they will be too mad if you spell their name wron. Epescially if you don't know them that well. Its common knowledge that Mikayla is/ can be spelled many ways.

Are you trying for Michaela and Gabriella?
These would be the proper spellings of the names it seems you're asking about, and while you should be safe with Gabriella (Gabriela is technically said differently), be warned that there are literally dozens of random misspellings of Michaela currently common, as I'm certain the previous replies have already indicated. LOL Mikayla, McKayla, MaKayla, Mikkala, Makaila ... I could go on. ;) All equally incorrect, however. So if the folks you're sending the card to are the educated, literate type, I'd gamble on traditional Michaela. And really, even if they aren't, the letter-jumble versions really are a veritable crap shoot, so you might as well stick with the proper spelling even then. After all, those who choose to misspell a common name are generally used to having it "incorrectly" spelled, well, correctly. ;)
Good luck!

Michaela is the traditional spelling, then theres always Michala, Mickayla, Mikayla, Michayla.
Gabriella is also the traditional spelling. But if you're like my family and you'll change it to Gabreaella. Then theres always Gabriela.
Good luck!
