Pregnancy & Parenting - 27 November 2007

Hi. I posted this in Women's Health but hardly any answers,so I thought that the women in here could help me with this:
I have been spotting for 5 days (maybe more-I may have lost count). Not much-but enough to notice. Its a brownish red color, no clots (Sorry-TMI). My period is not supposed to start for another week. I have also had PMS symptoms-pain in lower back, legs and slight cramps in abdomen. Also sore breasts-big time. I have been stressed out lately. Could this be causing the spotting? Also, is this normal? I plan on asking the doc about it but I was wondering if anyone else had this also.
(BTW, I am 24 yrs old, and had sex only 3 times this month with hubby & not around expected ovulation. )
I am really worried that something could be wrong with me because I have been spotting so much.
Does anyone know what is wrong?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and am having this weird tingling sensation around my cervix. It's not painful by any means. I think I've been losing some of my mucus plug yesterday and today, the discharge is really stringy. I was just wondering if this tingling sensation could be effacement or dilation.

I took the pregnancy home test and it tested positive. I've missed two periods. But I guess I kind of question it now because I am suppose to be 9 weeks along and I've only had two weeks at the most of morning sickness. That might be a good thing. This is my first pregnancy and I'm worried that it might be a miscarriage. I don't know what one looks like. Do you just bleed? Is there any pain?

Hello everyone, fertility friend shows me ovulating earlier than normal this month, and now it says I should take a test, but I am really scared. I don't think I can go through another bfn. Should I just suck it up and take the test, or should I wait another week or so? I don't know what to do. Here is my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/13a643

Any advice would be much appreciated. I have asked my husband a million times what I should do and he just says he doesn't know.

My DH and I started ttc in Oct. I ovulated mid Oct. and got AF Oct. 30. For the next cycle I started to chart BBT. It looks like I o'd around Nov 13. I thought we timed everything pretty well this month. We BD Nov. 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12, but low and behold, AF arrived today Nov. 27 sending me into a new cycle. So, I want to chart a little better this month and try opk but I am so confused. I had a temp dip around Oct. 13 way below my baseline of 97.8 than my temps were up around 98.2 and stayed there till Sunday when they slowly fell to 97.8. Does the temp climb happen after O?
Next question, if I use opk, what day in my cycle do I start? I am a very dependable 28 day cycle. And how do I know when I will ovulate by using one?

I went to the hospital with bad pains in my abdomen. the Doctor told me I am 7 weeks pregnant and was already the seize of a large grapefruit. My hormone levels were extremily high saying I should be 8 to 9 weeks pregnant. I'm wondering if I'm expecting twins? They wouldnt let me see the ultrasound because I was in on a emergency visit. I also gained alot of weight a good 9lbs...Just wondering if i'm expecting twins?

I want to change my last name because I hate it, it's so embarrasing and I want to be an actress. I've talked to my dad about it and he's like "you should be proud to have that name" but I don't really like my dad for what he did to me when I was little, should I change it? I'm really frustrated. My 18 month old will stick his fingers down his throat when he doesn't want to do something. He does it repeatedly until he vomits.
I try taking his hand away from his mouth but he'll stick it right back in again and start gagging. I say, "NO!" and he laughs and does it again. I take his hand out over and over but he won't stop.

What causes this? I get so angry when I have to clean up up self-induced vomit. Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm so tired of negative test that I don't want to buy another but I just have to know! I know that SOMETHING is going on in my lower pelvic area and my sides, esp my right. I'm going back and forth between Pregnant and Ovulation! It started last weekend I was getting cramps like you have when AF is coming...Well it never did. The cramping went off and on and very light to mild. Finally it stopped. Right before the cramping I was having pinching pain(light) on my left and right sides near my Ovaries so I figured Ovulation maybe. Well that stopped and I was just bloated, feeling, different in my lower pelvic area. Today though I'm having the light pinching on my right side again near my ovary but not long.

What could all of this mean? I have a FF chart which isn't complete because I started charting further in my cycle when it came to temps. I'm very irregular also and can't tell what all of this is.

Also if preg, can you have pinching on your sides like that?

I have been having these symptoms for almost 1 week1\2 and usually if i am about to start i would just get bloated and it would only last for a couple of days and then i would start my period but this has been going on for a longer period of time!
but not any of these symptoms that im having!
my breast r like a frustrating sore,not really bad soreness!
I had my period around the end of october for 5 days and the my period came back 1 week after which was the beginning of november and i had it for 4 days then and its been 3 weeks since i had my last period.

I took two EPT +/- tests.
The first worked perfectly, but only had half of a vertical line. It had a full horizontal line.
The second had a full horizontal line, and only a "dot" above it, where the vertical line would be.
I've been having symptoms: nausea, increased urination (that's a big one), sleeplessness, but very tired, cramps, the whole nine. It's still 2 days before I should start. What's going on?

My last period ended on the 17th of October. It's now the 27th of November. I feel fine..I don't have any symptoms and I am normally late on my period, but not this late. The last time I had sex was on the 29th of October. Can you tell me any other signs of someone being pregnant? Thanks.

what causes high amniotic fluid levels??...its not really high but at 25 weeks they said it was in the 60 % (15.5) a little on the high side....what causes more than normal amniotic fluid? im not worried about it . just curious!

your childs father? I dont know if its hormones or what but right now I can't stand the father of my baby! He didn't really do anything but over the last week or so it seems like I hate him more and more. Im not even speaking to him rite now and he has no clue why and neither do I. I just really hate him rite now! Is this a normal thing when you pregnant? My patience is so low its unbelievable. I feel like if someone breathes too hard i might strangle them! YAY! I tested positive last week.... My last period started on October 7th...Does that make me 7 or 8 weeks pregnant? I have my first appt in two weeks, but Im just curious and every pregnancy calendar website gives me a different answer, either 7 or 8...which is it?

So ladies, which do you prefer (or have had better luck with) and why? I used an OPK this month and it was fairly simple but I can see it getting pricey. I bought 3 7-day kits before I finally ovulated. Those of you that chart......it is easy to miss your temp. increase?

Has anyone tried the saliva ovulation test?

Husband and I had sex on the 18th & 22nd of this month (2 of the 5 most fertile days of the month for me).

He dreamed that I would have child on Aug 12-14 2008 & for that to happen I would have to conceive this month.

So far I am between 6-8dpo (most fertile of the 5 days was between 19th & 21st (top 3 days were 19th, 20th, & 21st)

The only symptoms I am showing are:

My back was hurting all last week everyother night (after work or when siting on couch). Lasted during most fertile time up until 2-4dpo of most fertile time.

Today (between 6-8dpo) I had trouble sleeping & kept tossing & turning around last night, but felt fine when I was awake & getting ready for work.

While at a local coffee shop, I felt tired (exhuasted) like I wanted to crash & fall asleep but also depressed.

Could this be a sign, & if so, what's next to look for?

I know my husband wants a child badly, but could this tiredness (exhaustion) & depression be coming from him wanting a child badly.
