I took two EPT +/- tests.
The first worked perfectly, but only had half of a vertical line. It had a full horizontal line.
The second had a full horizontal line, and only a "dot" above it, where the vertical line would be.
I've been having symptoms: nausea, increased urination (that's a big one), sleeplessness, but very tired, cramps, the whole nine. It's still 2 days before I should start. What's going on?

I think that would be a positive, but it wouldn't hurt to check the website mentioned in the first answer. Congratulations!

Try a First Response test. Some people have a terrible time with the blue line tests, but I have found that FRER is very accurate a few days before a period is due.

Could just be too early for the test to pick up the HCG in your body.
Wait two more days and take your test with your first morning urine.
And I agree with the other poster, the +/- tests aren't as accurate. I'd go with the test that has two vertical lines.

Good luck!!!

I would get a dollar tree test. They are cheap and easy to use. They do work! Or if you want a more expensive test, get an EPT. The one/two lines are easier to read. Good luck!

check out the site peeonastick.com, it doesn't give the +/- tests a good report for exactly the reason you are describing. You might want to try one of the digital tests. No ambiguity there.
