Do employeers not like to hire women with children or something? I have been appling for jobs like crazy and i have been going from interview to interview and still not one offer. I have previous work experience working with money and managing and cant even get a job as a teller. I have not been working for 2 years cus ive been at home taking care of my child and husband, and now its time i got a job cus money is getting tight and just not able to get any job. I actually think i remember one time before i had my son i had an interview with a hospital and they asked me if i was pregnant or thinking about it cus basically they dont like hiring women with babies whats the deal with that.

I'm 19 and I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my first child. Two months ago my boyfriend left me and hadn't kept up with checking on doctors appointments or anything to do with the baby. Yesterday he called me for the first time because he realized that I have a few weeks left until the baby is born and he wanted to know how much money I wanted under-the-table so he wouldn't be arrested if he missed a payment. I saw that as rude because he didn't even ask how the baby has developed or how my pregnancy had gone for the past two months. I had already decided that I was not going to give the baby his last name until he proved that he was going to be a good dad. He is very immature and I don't want anything to happen to the baby because he can't act like an adult. He then threatened me with a "I hope you get what's coming to you." Today I have been so paranoid that something was going to happen to me and I don't know if I'm having pregnancy paranoia or if I should really worry. Any suggestions?

and i'm about to have a baby. I can honestly say that this is a hard lesson to learn, my ex boyfriend is a "different" type of guy. His family is insane and i really don't want my child growing in that kind of life style with drugs so on so on. i do want him apart of this and i am froma very conservative family.. i had straight a's, showed horses my whole life, cheered, and then i foud this bad boy and thought i was in love! got pregnant and well basically made MY life harder, but see i don't want to make my kids life hard. i don't want her to have to go through things because of MY mistake, i moving to his town saved up money and i will finish my education, on my part i will find a way to make it work, so heres the promblem.. my ex is 20 now dating a 15 year old, so????? am i just suspose to truat him and a 15 year old with my kid!!! oh my but i want to make this work, i'm very protective, how can i go about making this work? thanks =]

My lil one tells me when he has used peepee or poop and doesn't want to stay in his diaper he takes it off constantly.

Hi, I am 23 years old. I weigh 53 kilos, I am 164cm tall. I went off the pill about 4 months ago and have had a normal menstrual cycle since. But now I have no had my periods for nearly 7 weeks. I have done 3 pregnancy tests which have all come back negative. What is going on? Suggestions?

i am 16 weeks pregnant. this is my 4th pregnancy in 4 1/2 years.
my husband is soooooooo frusterated with me because i am just not in the mood for sex. he seems understanding but i know he wants it, i mean he is a MAN! lol
what can i do to get myself in the mood instead of just laying there or not having sex at all??
also how can i help him to understand why i don't wanna have sex, i just have no desire.

im getting induced tues ill be one day away from 4o weeks
They tried this weds but the patocin just did not work and sent me home.Anyways my dr said my cervix is long and thick and im about 1 cm dilated question is ive heard about raseberry tea softening cervix? whats the brand? can you get it in the groccery store i am in vermont so what would i look for what would it say raspeberry tea thats it?

So I'm about 33 weeks along and we havent agreen on a single name. I hate his names, he hates mine. He likes the name Lauren. I really do also but thats my cousins name. My cousin lives on the other side of the US and we havent seen each other in probably 3 1/2 years. Is it ok to use the same name or is that tacky? I'm not completely set on it. I was actually thinking of the name Dominique but I havent suggested it. We want something really girly. If you don't think it's ok to use the same name as a family member what names would you suggest?

I have had to supplement since my baby was born. I had an emergency c-section (not sure if this had anything to do with it) but it took my milk almost 2 full weeks to come in and even then it was never enough to satisfy her. I was very emotional at first in having to give formula but have come to terms, especially since my daughter lost almost a pound the first week due to not knowing she wasn't getting enough. She has begun to prefer the bottle, making it extremely difficult to breastfeed unless she is very tired or starts with a couple ounces of formula. Im fine with supplementation but at times when she goes to the breast she just screams. I want to give her the best and have tried to pump however am unsuccessful, getting from nothing to almost an ounce when my breasts are extremely full. I feel horrible, like I am doing something wrong and when I talk to friends who have lots of milk, can pump 5 to 8 ounces, I feel very inferior and like Im failing as a mother. Any suggestions?

And don't want him called Dan or Danny, are people going to honor my wishes or shorten his name anyway? I've always thought it proper to call a person by what they're introduced by/introduce themselves as... Like if a woman would tell me her name was Kimberly, I wouldn't call her Kim. I'd call her Kimberly unless she told me otherwise. How do other people feel about this?

My son is 4 months old tomorrow. He normally naps bout 1-2 hours at a time about 3 times a day. he already had a 1 hour nap today. He was awake for a few hours but at 3:30pm he went down for a nap. It's now 7:30pm at night and he's STILL sleeping from the same nap. I even changed his diaper during this nap and he barely woke up. Is it bad for him to be napping this long? Should I wake him or continue to let him sleep?

My son is 1 month and 1 week old and for the past few weeks he has such bad gas. He pushes and pushes, his face turns red and he starts crying. I will take off his diaper and and pull his legs back and he lets it all release sometimes but it is so constant that I cant keep up with it or I will have his diaper off 24/7. I feel so bad for him. Last night he did not sleep AT ALL!! I mean he went on an 8 hour stretch and cried the whole time. Is this normal?? What can I do??

My son is three and a half and this is his first year of preschool. We had his first parent teacher conference. His teacher gave me this piece of paper with 100+ things that he should know how to do. Some of them included hoping on one foot, walk across a balance beam, awareness of group rules, hold a pencil, calm body, write first and last name, indicate number of phonemes in a word, days of the week, demonstrate book knowledge (author, editor). etc. Well he got a P grade on everything for progressing which means he doesn't quite know how to do these things. Is it normal for a school to be grading three year olds on this kind of stuff? I wasn't told anything positive just things that he couldn't do. The teacher was also concerened that he couldn't go down the twisty bar at the play ground? Should I be worried or is this a bit extreme? I did not feel good about this meeting at all. Please be honest are these normal things that three year olds should be doing?

We have the Avent magic trainer cups and I dont know how to clean them... did disassemble them and put it in the dishwasher and then today when i got it out it had mold in it!! Because as far as I know the plastic piece and the sippy part are all one piece and water gets stuck in there... so how are you suppose to clean them.

she has told me that she is at the point where either she wants to leave home or she wants her daughter to go to foster care, she just can't handle her attitude anymore, only problem is someone told her that if her daughter got put into foster care she would have to pay for it, is that true? Ok, I was released from the hospital yesterday after having pre-term labor at 31 weeks. I am 3cm and 60% thinned. Today I have been getting very painful shotting pains in my left hip. It happens when I am sitting or standing, so sitting down with my feet up don't help, they keep coming. It is now starting to start at my hip and move to my lower left side of my back.

What do ya'll think, is this normal??
