What is the one thing you love that helps out with the baby???

we're making our babyshower registery and we have everything we can think of, i just want to know what you own that is a Must Have!!!!

I have a lot of onesided cramping (not painful, but more annoying then anything) and alot of gas! I had a prenatal on monday with a heartbeat of 140 and I felt him/her move yesterday. I had gone on a walking tour and had to sit down every 5 minutes or so because I felt very faint and dehydrated, Is all this normal for being so early in pregnancy? Is it normal to still be cramping?

My son was physically assaulted in school, was kicked in the face and head several times, and in his stomach. He spent a total of 6 hours in the emergancy room for his injuries. The school never called me to let me know he was assaulted, there was no punishment done to the other boy, who is older and bigger. And now my son is being charged with breaching the peace. I have also been charged by the other boy's mother for threatening them over the phone. I was called by them three times while in the ER with my son and again when I got home, with them threatening to charge my son with all kinds of things if I pressed charges against her son. So I made a comment that the one charging my son should be smacked in the mouth for lying and twisting it around. I never spoke directly to the mother. It was someone else who called me and the mother was there. So I was charged with profane lang. over the phone. I had just came home from the ER and was upset. Where do I find help?

PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TO GO TO MY DOCTOR!
i have already called and left a message with the nurse.
i am just looking for advice from someone who has gone through the same thing or anyone who might know what is going on while i wait..........i have a couple of questions
QUESTION #1
30 weeks pregnant and i keep getting these pains in my lower abdomen. they are real sharp pains and last for a few seconds then come back every once in a while. (mostly when i am getting ready to sit or get up) does anyone know what this is?

i feel like my litte girl is a gymnast...seriously. she kicks really hard and sometimes it feels like she's doing cartwheels in there. even when i look at my stomach and she's doing that it looks like my belly is jumping! is that normal??

pains in my lower pack that seem to go all the way down to my thighs. when i get up it feels like she drops down and i have shooting pains from my back all the way to my upper legs. anyone know?

my last AF was On Oct 11th, it was a 29 day cycle, I am ttc and I am on metformin, today is day 16 of my cycle day, I am having mild lite pressure and cramps aroung the right ovaries, as I sit my right thigh is also having pressure, I am going to take a OPK today to determain if its ovulation time, but do you think these could be signs of ovulation?

I have a biological son. We have discussed possibly adopting a girl someday. Our house is only a 2 bedroom. Is there some type of rule that says a male and female can not share sleeping quarters?

I am 39 weeks pregnant with my first and am so physically uncomfortable that I'm finding these last few days to be extremely difficult.

What are some natural, physical, ways to induce labor besides intercourse and nipple stimulation?

I don't want to try Castor Oil or Raspberry Tea Leaf (anything that I would have to ingest) unless my doctor tells me to do so.

I have some friends who have 4 kids. 3 are from the wife's previous relationship (father is not involved) and a newborn daughter together who is on a heart moniter and was tiny (4 pounds) at birth 3 weeks ago. They let her 6 year old sister and 4 year old brother feed the baby UNSUPERVISED.....I walked in to find (at 11pm) the 6 year old holding the bottle for baby in the carseat (needless to say I took the baby and made the 6 year old go to sleep) and they let the 4 year old brother feed her on the floor while dad laid on the couch out of view of the baby and mom was on the computer out of view of the baby while milk squirted out of the babies nose. I said something to them and they said they are trying to make the older 2 feel involved. How do I talk to them about all the dangers of this?

My son fell out of our bed the other night and seems to be okay.But his eye is puffy.It is not red or blue.I took him to doc to get checked out but he says he is fine.Why would his eye be puffy unless he hurt it ?

I believe it is a womens choice, considering if I was raped and i got pregnant I have NO idea what i would do!! I dont know if i could bring myself to the clinic to get an abortion, But in that case i might... but i really dont know.

I would not have an abortion for any other reason.
While growing up my mother told me that she would use a coat hanger!! yea and i was 17, with a job and had a two yr relationship with my now husband!! when she was telling me this!!
I always thought it was scary, then when seeing these photos of these dead fetus I couldn't bare it, its sad.

A woman I never met was babysitting for the son or my mother in laws co worker.That woman had 2 children when she bagan babysitting him.While watching him she got pregnant 5 times and lost them all between 22 and 35 weeks pregnant.After the 3rd loss my mother in law voulenteered me to watch the boy for a week while the other woman dealt with the loss.At that time I was 26 weeks pregnant with my 4th.I had gone to the doctor the Fri before and everything was great.They scheduled me for a sonogram the following Fri.When I went to that app. my baby had no heart beat.This boy started kindergarden last year.His teacher was 6 months pregnant.At 36 weeks her baby died.I got pregnant again had beautiful baby.The other woman got pregnant again after the boy started school.She had a full term healthy baby.Also the boys mom had 3 miscriages after having him.All of us that lost our babies were given no explanation as to why their hearts stooped beating.The only thing we had in common was that boy??

After our ultra sound I could tell he was really disappointed not to be having a boy but he was just acting really ridiculous about it. He even went to the extent as to saying he felt sick to his stomach that we are having another girl. All he could talk about was how that was two weddings we were gonn ahave to pay for.. seriously, who thinks of that? Plus Its not my fault he made himself believe we were havign a boy.(not to mention hes the only one who can give the Y chromosomes) anyway i got really upset and started crying after he made his rude comments... should I have just disregarded them? I mean really those kinds of comments are better left unsaid, especially to a pregnant woman. I understand that he was disappointed but now I feel as though he is not excited about this baby because its another girl, and not the boy he really wanted.

Im personally just happy that the doc said the baby looks healthy. (21 wks along)

My one year old baby boy is exstreamly jelous. He bites my 7 Year old son over nothing or slap him constantly. I am working for a full day, but tries to give him attention when I get home. He sometimes even tries to byte me.

What should I do.

2 weeks ago, my son had a slight fever with runny nose. it only lasted 2 days. I gave him some tylenol cold and he was ok. Since that time, he has had a runny nose and developed a slight cough this week. I have given him dimetapp everytime I see his symptoms come back, (which is once a day). The worst of his runny nose and cough seems to be when he wakes up in the morning, and right after his bath at night. During the day, the runny nose and coughing stops (pretty weird to me)

I dont want to give him anymore cold medicine, because I know it only makes him feel better, not cure the virus. The cold does not seem to bug him, except for his nose dripping. So, is it time I take him to the doctor? (I have taken him before and all they tell me to give him meds to make him feel better) or any other suggestions? Also, in your opinion, would you think he needs the flu shot?
