Answer # 1 Yes, those pains could be your Braxton Hicks contractions. They are completely normal and will get stronger. I get them all the time and yes, they do hurt.

Answer # 2 Yes, my little one does flips too. I tell my husband she is practicing her soccer kicks. She does a weird little movement up my side by my ribs too, it really kind of tickles until she jams them into my ribs. I like to put the remote control on my belly and watch it move around, also my husband can see her movements that way too... he loves it.

Answer # 3 Yes, it sounds like she is playing with your Sciatic nerve, is it mainly on the right side? Mine would be in my butt and go down my leg, and would actually give out... it hurts.

For a lot of great information and answers (these two sites have been my life savers) go to:

www.webmd.com (on webmd you can type in the search week by week pregnancy and it will show you what is going on each week)

1. it is probably round ligament pain. it is normal, its just your ligaments loosening up and expanding. It is uncomfortable but just another "joy" of pregnancy.
2. My little one is a gymnast too! It is perfectly normal for your little one to move around and go nuts. I find that this is the perfect time to play with your baby. She will interact with you, when you see she jumping around, lightly push back, it will be like tug-o-war! It's amazing!
3. The shooting pain in your lower back is more than likely your sciatic nerve acting up. Usually the pain will go away once the baby shifts positions, but I've had friends whose didn't get better until the baby was born. My sciatic nerve was killing me and I found that wearing a belly brace helped tremendously! Babies-R-Us has them for like $30-40 and it is a great investment. Actually the brace helped with the pains in my abdomen as well...
COngratulations and remember, you are only 10 weeks away! (at least that is what I keep telling myself!)

I'm 30 weeks pregnant also and i feel almost the same i ask my doctor and he told me that it could just be the baby getting into position. Or it could be false labor and that as long as i don't bleed or my water breaks i should be fine.

when i get these pains what i do is i lay down. but usually i get them when i walk a few blocks, go up and down the stairs.

but if you feel that the pains get stronger don't call anyone just go straight into labor and delivery who knows maybe you are a high risk pregnancy and you need close attention.

and for you daughter being a little active, well i think you should also consider boy names since boys are the ones who are active. girl are more easy going in the stomach. doctors sometimes are wrong.

well i hope this helps you and good luck.

i had all three of these problems..i have 3 kids so i've been through just about all of it.. the pain in your lower stomach could be braxton hicks or it could be your stomach stretching. my son literaly moved around so much i felt like he was about to emerge through my stomach..he flicked my rib with his foot once and everyone heard it..and i felt it,it was sore for weeks,he was and still is very active.. with my other son i had the pains in my lower stomach and legs so bad that i would drop to the floor..it was him laying on a nerve..and the bigger they get the worse it is...i know its miserable but hang in there you dont have long to go..
