All babies are different, but eating every 2-4 hours for formula fed babies is perfectly normal. If she drinks the entire 4 ounces then seems hungry less than an hour later, you may want to try 5 ounces, but I think your daughter is right on schedule and doing just fine.

Ther is nothing wrong with a child of that age eating that much and that often. As long as the child is gaining weight and is developing normally the child is getting enough nutrition. EACH child develops differently and as different nutritionally needs. You child should have gone for their first check up by now and if the pedatrition isn't worried don't you be. When the baby is ready for more they will take more don't force it before than or they might start to throw up. Also don't make feeding a power issues this early in thier life or you will be fighting with them for the rest of their life over food. A child will eat what they need if left to them selfs for the most part.

That sounds about right. If she still seems hungry as soon as you are finished feeding, try giving her a little more. I think my son was probably eating about 4 oz then every 3 hrs, though.. It is normal to feed that often at that young age.

YES.....YOU CAN FEED HER. That doesn't seem like an overly large amount of food for a 3 week old. Plus, she might be going through a growth spurt.

perfectly normal...at that age they need to eat when they are hungry...they will tell you when they have had enough...i'd try bumping it up to 5 oz and see how that goes...DO NOT listen to people who tell you to add a little rice cereal to their bottle....they are TOO young! formula is all they need right now!
