I am the one who miscarried triplets five days ago. Right now I'm pregnant. I bought an ultra-sensitive pregnancy test that tests positive the moment you concieve. I am two weeks pregnant. What is going on in my body right now?

How far along am I when the heart begins to beat? I'm a fraternal twin. Does that increase my chances of having twins or multiples? What's the most I can concieve?

I agree with everyone else your levels are probably still showing on the tests. I also wouldn't put much faith in them I'm 7months along and they show I'm still negative. Anyway both my husband and i have twins in our families as i understand it identicals can happen anytime however fraternals are every other generation so if you are one then you wont have them but your kids might have them.

If you miscarried about five days ago, there's a possibility that you still have some small amounts of Hcg left in your urine, which could be detected on a home pregnancy test. I would wait a few more weeks, even a month, before you try to concieve again.

It could be that you were carrying more than triplets. One of my moms friends miscarried many years ago, she kept insisting that she was still pregnant and everybody thought she was crazy. When she was about five months her doctor finally listened and test. It turned out she had been pregnant with twins and miscarried one of them. The other baby was just fine.

However, my cousin concieved twins through IVF and she miscarried both three weeks apart.

I think you should see your doctor. He will have the best info for you.

How could you have miscarried 5 days ago and now be 2 weeks pregnant? I don't understand it. They say that fraternal twins do run in the family. My Mum is a fraternal twin, her Mother had 3 sets of fraternal twins and my Dad has fraternal twin brothers. I've been pregnant 3 times and never had twins nor has anyone else in my family. Goood luck with everything.

First of all, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Secondly, I'm a little confused about the details since it's not possible to be 2 weeks pregnant 5 days after you lost your babies.

Perhaps you should wait a week or two and get a blood test. But start caring for yourself as if you were pregnant, just in case.

I'm sorry, I have never heard of any test that can detect a pregnancy as soon as you conceive. If you only just miscarried triplets five days ago, it is highly likely your positive hpt result is from the remaining hcg still in your system...it takes approximately 5-6 weeks for hcg levels to return to a non-pregnant state.

If you have concerns, you should call your ob.

Best of luck to you.

You miscarried five days ago and you're saying you're pregnant again? The HCG levels would still be in your body and might make a test show up positive. I do not think you could be pregnant again... You couldn't be 2 weeks pregnant already.
