3. do the stitches just grow into the body or do you need them removed?

MY SON IS 10 MNTHS OLD & HAS BEEN HAVING A FEVER*2DAYS NOW* & NOW HE IS GETTIN LIKE A COLD!! I TOOK HIS TEMP.(THE HIGHEST ITS GOTTEN WAS 100.7) WHICH IS NOT THAT BAD!!! I ALRAEDY GAVE HIM TYLENOL(DROPS) & NOW IM GIVIN HIM SOME OTHER MEDICATION CALLED MIMIC SOMETHING(DR. TOLD ME).....I JUST WNNA KNOW WHAT THIS MIGHT BE!!!!??? OR WHAT CAN I DO FOR MY BABY?? HELPP....

We decided that as soon as this batch of pull ups is gone (about 3 days left of them) we are going undies only. He dose so much better in them as he treats the pull ups like diapers. I was just wondering how many undies we should have. I have 8 of the regular ones that are just undies and then we have the potty diaper thingys that are thicker in the middle and we have about 12 of those. Once he quits having alot of accidents (I figure about 3 days or so) we are putting up the diaper ones for his sister to use. So my question is how many pairs of regualr undies should I have? I do a load of laundry almost everyday but I dont gather and do it all except for 2x a month. I think I need another pack but I was hoping people with potty trained kids would give me an idea. He is 2 and already knows the basics but I do expect an accident every once in a while. Thanks!

Not pregnant yet, but hopefully soon. I am looking for a baby girls name to go with my daughters, Amanda Leila, Alexa (Ally) Madison, and Jenna Ashlee.

So far my husband and I have come up with:
Myla Avery/Sophia
Stella Analea (pronounced Anna-Leah)
Sophia (nn-Sophie) Catherine (great-grandmother)

And others that are possible considerations for the future: Skyla (like Skyler), Nola, Nora, Lila, Lyla,
Analea, and my husband likes Agatha (Greek) with a nickname Aggie, which I am really not that fond of, but who knows what could happen.

Only responsible persons should answer this question and shouldn't be taken lightly. Well, anyways, the topic is Child Discipline. The Bible says "Spare the rod, Spoil the child", but how many people do you know misinterpret the word "rod". Rod has many meanings in the Bible. Rod can mean guidence, leadership, and yes, discipline. Who said discipline is spanking or hitting your children. No one. A shepard has "rod" his staff, but he uses it to gently guide his sheep, not hit them, and children are most certainly more precious then sheep. I feel God wouldn't like an adult hitting God's children. Everything else in the Bible has to be thought through before you can understand, so why take the word "rod" litteral?

My 6 yr old son broke his left arm at school 2 days ago. The doc put his arm in a cast (no sling). I go in to check up on him every so often, and I always catch him sleeping on his side with his left arm underneath him. How can I prevent him from sleeping on it? Sleeping on his back, or even sleeping on his right arm would be fine. Any ideas?

I'm currently 12w along. I went in and they tried to pick up the baby's heartbeat with the fetal monitor but couldn't find it. I'm not too alarmed cause the dr said it was normal. We also saw the h/b at 8w and it was a strong 171 bpm. Has anyone else experienced this and what was your outcome?? Thanks!

I'm a pregnant stay at home mom of 3, and although my husband has a great job, I have been curious about finding a way to add to our income without being away from my kids. So far I've found nothing other than sleazy stuff i.e. phone sex operator, and I'm not interested in being jerk off material (lmao) for some creepy man who gets his rocks off on pregnant teenage amputee's (or something like that) while my kids are running around me and I have another in my belly....... not that I have a problem with pregnant teenage amputees. Ok, it seems to me that everywhere i look here, there are always people using bad grammar and misspelling alot of their words. For example, ur instead of your or you're, or ya instead of yes or yeah. People use bad grammar to the point where you cannot even understand them. It's like they don't even put any effort into spelling correctly! Who else agrees with me?

At the moment im 13 years old .

and my mom still hasn't given me the talk , like the sex talk .

We have had little conversations here and there about little stuff but nothing major . Even in school we haven't talked about sex and all the other classes are!

We are having a baby in 31/2 months. We know it is a boy. We are having a hard time figuring out a name for the boy. My name is Casey and my dad's name is Leon. Her granddad's name is Leon. we have been leaning towards Matthew Leon Parker. What do you think? It is my first child and she doesn't really like the name Casey.

my lactation consultant mentioned to me that infant formula contains both soil fungus and cocaine. no joke. now, i have to admit that i find that "fact" a little hard to believe. i didn't call her on it - i simply didn't want to get into a debate with a delusional fanatic, which is what i assumed her to be.

my question: does anyone know if there is anything out there to actually support this statement in the least? i hate the thought that this person is spouting things like this when she has the ear of many new parents (she is a lactating consultant thru our local WIC program and the University of MIchigan), some of whom may be a bit more gullible than average, thus they may believe her and be too scared to switch to bottles if the situation calls for it.

this question is NOT about opening the whole breastfeeding vs. bottle-feeding argument. i'm looking for facts to go to a higher authority with, so please don't turn this into "who cares more for their baby." thanks!
