An odd question, but I would say no. I think that we are just people who have a desire to help others improve their lives. However maybe being abused as a child would make you want to help others more. Can only speak for myself.

No, I'm a social worker and I wasn't, nor were most of my classmates in college.
Not sure about physcologists (or what one is) , but psychologists are no more likely than anyone else.....

observed the harrowing merchandise on ITV information approximately Leticia. Her genuine father is in all possibility dealing with Hell suitable now, as he replaced into ignorant of what replaced into occurring to her until all of it have been given into court. i do no longer possibly be attentive to what we are able to do approximately such situations. they are fortuitously fairly uncommon, yet we do look quite helpless. i ask your self whether there is something in regulation which delays social centers being legally waiting to do something? subject is all of this dates decrease back to the Nineteen Sixties while childrens ought to quite much actually be snatched from mum and dad via the social centers. This carry approximately a selection undesirable situations of toddlers being taken into look after no sturdy reason. i'm hoping you may understand the subject here. I seem to bear in mind that somebody decrease back interior the Nineteen Sixties made a documentary [a docurama certainly] - i think of it replaced into noted as 'Cathy Come domicile' or something like that. I certainly have not seen it yet replaced into around while it replaced into broadcast. i think of we could desire to consistently look at this 'Cathy Come domicile' or maybe though it replaced into noted as one greater time, through fact it explains a lot of issues approximately baby care. between the excuses i detect those thoughts so surprising is that i replaced into suggested interior the care of the national childrens domicile in the present day after WW2. I on no account observed or new of any cruelty as a baby yet have subsequently been made attentive to it interior the information over the years, which comprise such through fact the Moors murders [murderers] and so on. Re the McCanns - they have completed and are doing each and every thing they probably can to get well their stolen baby. I pray for them. i'm uninterested in people who've sniped on the McCanns at here and interior the media frequently. it relatively is basically no longer sturdy adequate and a social shame and in all possibility is coming from the minds of people who're commonly fairly sane yet who a technique or the different have become possessed of a few evil tension.

I would think not. Probably they are people who empathize with others, and are so caring that they want to help by becoming social workers.
Take care.

I wouldnt say most. I would say some people go into a field because they have a personal experience with that field, but that could be for example medicine when one grows up with a sick sibling.
