I'm a pregnant stay at home mom of 3, and although my husband has a great job, I have been curious about finding a way to add to our income without being away from my kids. So far I've found nothing other than sleazy stuff i.e. phone sex operator, and I'm not interested in being jerk off material (lmao) for some creepy man who gets his rocks off on pregnant teenage amputee's (or something like that) while my kids are running around me and I have another in my belly....... not that I have a problem with pregnant teenage amputees. So, if anyone has actually found/ worked for a company that will allow me to work from home, I'd appreciate your input.

Thanks SO much for the quick responses and awesome ones at that.... I'm checking into YTB and pampered chef right now ! I don't know about the personal chef one, although it's a great idea, my cooking skills are probably too limited for a job like that.

I am a stay at home mom and I sell Pampered Chef. ITs great because I get to be home with my daughter all day and if I have a show I can schedule it around our schedule. I love it because not only does everyone cook but I get free stuff all the time too. Plus each year you earn your way to a free vacation. This year is for a cruise. So .. .. I really like it. If your interested email me and I'll tell you more about it! :)

I've been working from home as a Virtual Assistant since 2002. If you have admin or secretarial skills you might want to look into this as a very real, cutting-edge work at home opportunity - perfect for stay at home moms.

It's got nothing to do with envelope stuffing or any of that nonsense.

Yesterday I was talking to someone who I helped become a Virtual Assistant. She has a small baby and is finding it fantastic to stay at home and still earn money.

I wrote a free ebook about how to become a Virtual Assistant because of all the questions I get! You can download it here:

YES! There are legit work at home options…….I looked for 3 years before I found a good one! Learn from my experiences….lol

I’m a stay at home mom of two little girls a 1 year old and a 3 year old. I work about 15-18 hours per week for a National Medical Benefits Company. I have been with the company for 6 months and am now making over $2500 a month! In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work I have seen people make anywhere from $500-$2000. And your income will increase each month because we get paid residual income as well. If I continue on as I am going at the end of the year I will be making $5000 a month. My friend Becky started 2 years before me. She is now making $95,000 a year.

The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit and a benefits package. In addition, there are no products, no hard selling or pushing, no cold calling and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me.

I absolutely love working with them and I can't believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week. The neat thing is there are other people on your team that you work with so you are never alone. The support is great but I have made wonderful friends as well. I think that’s important too, especially being at home!

I was a bit apprehensive at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this company is the number one National Medical Benefits Company in the US. They are a member of the US Chamber of Commerce which is very impressive. Also they were featured in “The New York Times”, “Wall Street Journal” and the “American Medical Review”. Even “60 Minutes” with Morley Safer did a big special on them!

Even more then all this is they are accepted at over 100,000 retailers nation wide. These are fortune 500 companies like Sears, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Wal-mart and more. These companies would never work with a company that was any thing less then reputable. That made me feel very good about working with them knowing they were accepted at the stores I frequent. Also now of course being with them I get the benefits for free and I saved over $150 on my last visit to the dentist! That’s just a beautiful perk! : - )

When I first started I just felt very safe with them…. that and my friend was already making so much money with them! But at this point I feel a sense of security financially that our family has never had before. That plus LOVING what you do? What could be better?

Check them out! Just type in www.workathomeplus.net in your web browser.

P.S. If you are looking for a JOB there should be NO cost and I would NEVER pay or encourage anyone to pay money to work FOR someone else. This is a business, an inexpensive home business of your own, where you are your own boss. Of course it does cost some money to start any home business but that does NOT mean you should pay $500 or even $1000 to start a home business. Our start up costs are less then $100 bucks and we get SO much for that. Each month we cover only a very small portion of what it really costs to run our businesses, the company pays the rest for us. Including all of our web sites, training, materials, 401k, direct deposit, medical benefits and more. This company basically makes it possible for you to own your own home business and they foot almost 100% of the bill!!! Without them I never would have been able to afford my own business!

I am a stay at home mom that does Mary Kay. I like it because you don't have to have parties. Up until recently I held most of my appointments in my home some even play dates:)
My youngest will be 2 in Nov so I started getting out more for my own sanity:) It gives you the flexibility to do as much or as little as you want and it is a fun way to make money.
I think the best part is it is a consumable product so reorders carried me through my extended maternity leave.
Best of luck!

If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects using Microsoft Word. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work. Good luck!

In short...NO
Most "organizations" require a "small" investment fee and require you to sell a service of some sort to a great many people before you make any profit.....Really these are well disguised pyramid scemes.
Others require you to make a small investment to sell products such as make-up, adult toys or storage containers. These work out if you know many people that need such items or you are a great salesperson to convince these people that they need such items.

My suggestion is to either start your own "HOME-based" business....whether it is child care, pet care, tutoring or unique crafts of some sort (or whatever it is you have a talent for that someone else needs...tax preparation....typing, or cooking, etc...). That way ...the business is YOURS.

OR

Work on getting a degree via the internet....that way once your unborn child is ready for school....you will have a valuable degree that will be great for going back into the workforce.
