we have a baby on the way and we found out it will be a girl so we want to name her Schiane, but some people dont get the way we spell it. But we love the way its speel because its a combo of my moms name and my hubbie's moms name.

we have a 12 year old girl, two 9 year old girls, and an 8 year old boy. So right now we stay up late and when we go to bed either the girls go to their room with their freinds and the boys get the front room, or the other way around, there young so I'm not so woried, but they are getting older( like the kids sneaking out) and I'm just wondering what other people that have boys and girls do when their kids have friends spend the night.anyy help would be great.

i was recently at my daughters friends house for a birthday party(2-3 yrs old) I smelled that she had a dirty diaper so i got the diaper bag and got her and went into the great room, where there were some people but not too many, and layed her down to change her. I noticed that i got some dirty looks though while changing her. Was i wrong to change her there? Where should i change her next time? And how would you dispose of the dirty diaper?

I can't stand it when I read comments on here calling names cute! Do these people not realize that at some point the baby will grow up and will probably not want to be considered cute anymore? Does this bother anyone else? And before you start, I don't need your opinion that I'm taking things too seriously or need to get a life, etc. I've heard that all before. I just want to know if anyone else gets annoyed by people who only consider the "cuteness" of a name and neglect to think about the long run.

I know this is gonna sound like something i should of thought of before i got pregnant, but i am one of those people who are afraid of the doctors and i am really afraid already and it is not even time for me to have the baby yet i am already in the first stage of depression and i dont know what to do, im 21 years old and this is gonna be my first baby, i dont see why i am afraid of the doctors i have 4 tattoos and i wasnt afraid to get them at all i dont know is it just my mind playing tricks, can some one please explain to me how labor feels and what it feels like after you have the baby vaginal or c-section please help me thank you.

i been kind of gassy for the past 2 days dont know why i never felt this way ... is being gassy has something to do with early pregnancy symptom ... i dont think.. but since am not taking care of myself people tell me that being gassy is one symptom of early preganancy.. what can be causing this ..

So my last period started on Sept 8th. I got positive OPKs on Sept 21 and 22 . So ovulation was probably around Sept 22 or 23. We BDed almost every day around that time. My period was due Oct 8 again. It has not come but on the 7th I used a first response test and got a negative. Used another Thursday at 330am and it was negative too. But still no period. The only symptom Ive had is that my skin broke out really bad. And it sounds wierd, but I am usually sick to my stomach a lot. I have to watch what I eat bc everything makes me sick usually. But lately I have felt fine. I feel a little sick to my stomach in the AM but then Im fine. That is not normal for me.
Do you think I could be pregnant and its just too early to test? My mother was 9wks w my brother and it would not show up on a pee test.....

Well a few weeks ago I took my best friend over to meet my ex/ friend. They got along pretty good and a few days later, they started going out. My baby is 7 weeks old. The doctor believes he has reflux. He was screaming for long periods of time, having a lot of gas spitting up a lot after eating, although he hasn't been doing it as much since taking Reglan. He was also taking Zantac but now he is on Prevacid instead. Since the medication isn't helping a whole lot with anything other than the spitting up, we are wondering if it is something else other than reflux. The doctor wants me to try formula to see if it makes a difference (alimentum). It makes more sense to me to eliminate things from my diet & see if that helps. I don't want to stop breastfeeding! Any advice?
