I think that is too late. My younger sister is 16 and on a school night she is home by 8 and on weekend it is 10, but she can ask to have it extended if they are going to a movie or a firends party.
What would a 14 year old be doing at 10:30 at night? Maybe if he was at a friends house and walking home by 10:30, but I do not feel that it would be a good idea to let him just wonder around. That's an easy way to find trouble.

What is this kid doing "walking the streets" at that hour? His curfew time needs to be 9.30 at the latest- he's a growing child who needs to be in bed and asleep by 10.30 every school night. On Friday and Saturday, he can stay out a little later, but PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T let him wander the streets alone unless you want him to get kidnapped or possibly mugged. A boy that age wandering around alone is a prime target for muggers and pedophiles- a lot of kids get abducted, sexually assualted, and even murdered that way. It's not worth it- this child needs to be involved in some constructive activities in the evenings, like homework or school functions. The streets are no place for a kid, because these days, there are too many kids who never make it home from them.

Fourteen is too young to be out that late unless he's with his parents somewhere or with family. It's not safe anymore. Why would you want to walk around the streets at that time anyway? You are only looking for trouble. I think 9 pm is late enough.

Yes, it is. There is nothing going on at 1030 on the streets that a 14 year old needs to be involved in. You need sleep for the next school day. Trust me there is nothing going on in the streets that is good for you.

i would say that is way too late to be out just walking the streets. a 14 year old doesn't need to be out that late and it just leads to kids getting into trouble.

the streets arent safe be home before 7 pm so you can be in bed before 10pm way too late. theres no reason for a kid to be out after dark, the only thing thats out after dark is trouble
