We decided that as soon as this batch of pull ups is gone (about 3 days left of them) we are going undies only. He dose so much better in them as he treats the pull ups like diapers. I was just wondering how many undies we should have. I have 8 of the regular ones that are just undies and then we have the potty diaper thingys that are thicker in the middle and we have about 12 of those. Once he quits having alot of accidents (I figure about 3 days or so) we are putting up the diaper ones for his sister to use. So my question is how many pairs of regualr undies should I have? I do a load of laundry almost everyday but I dont gather and do it all except for 2x a month. I think I need another pack but I was hoping people with potty trained kids would give me an idea. He is 2 and already knows the basics but I do expect an accident every once in a while. Thanks!

Actually we wash out the dirty undies then put them in the wash, unless they are pooped then we wash them seperatly alone, its a tiny load but I dont want poopy undies mixed in with anything else. So I dont intend to do undies everyday if I dont have to. Thank you guys though.

I always had 12 pair on hand-some days we would go through 6 or 7 pair other days the same pair all day.A dozen is a good rule of thumb number.

I had 10-12 pairs for my son. He would have accidents, and maybe go through two or three pairs a day. Just all depends on how often you do laundry. If you plan on washing frequently then you should do good with what you have...if you don't have time to keep up with washing them, then I'd pick up another package or two.

I'm confused. You say you do a load almost everyday, but don't gather and do it all except for 2x a month. If you are doing a load every other day, then I would get about 6 more pair. You can always wash them out by hand if you don't do laundry more frequently.

When my daughter was once coaching, I began her out on Pull Ups for a month. Since they are designed to allow them to recognize whilst they have long gone potty, it helped her study what that icky rainy feeling was once like. After that, we did undies for the period of the day, until we had been going someplace like grocery searching...and Pull Ups at bedtime. Within might be a month or 2, she was once equipped to preserve her bladder at bedtime, however we used Pull Ups "simply in case" for a at the same time. I do not believe both manner is always higher...I simply believe that for a few, the benefit of cleansing up a rainy backside with Pull Ups as an alternative than a rainy backside, a rainy flooring, and and so on. makes Pull Ups the automated alternative. While she was once coaching, she wasn't allowed to have drinks overdue within the night. Patience is approximately all I can rather advise. That and looking your son for indicators that he is in a position to be potty educated. Like it or no longer, infants have their possess schedules, and if he isn't in a position but, it'll be plenty more difficult to educate him...and will likely be like torture for him and each person else concerned.

I would think you would need a few more at least at first. You are going to have to wash them at least every other day though. Surely you wouldn't leave peed in underwear around.

I have around 12 for my boy but that's b.c he has skidmarks in his underwear and I like to keep him clean. A dozen is a good starter and you can just buy more as you need them.
