... pregnant about to give birth any day to our 2nd child.

Am very concerned about how we (husband and I) are gonna cope with the two of them. How will I co-ordinate meal times, sleep times. How will I have time to keep my house in some kind of order (because my 22 month old creates a LOT of mess).

I feel really daunted right now.

To make matters worse we are currently in a one bedroom flat - am very concerned that the two kids sleeping in the same room at the early stages will mean that NEITHER child gets any sleep (i fear that the baby crying will wake up my toddler, and my toddlers tantrums will wake up my baby!!)

We ultimately hope to move but its not possible right now.

Any words of guidance, encouragement, support? Anyone been in a similar situation (i.e. 2 children under 2 years old)?

I cannot believe that parents would name their kids ridiculous names (such as 4real) that I just read about in an article. I mean, do parents even care that they're child must live with that name forever! It's like they have no respect for they're childs social and emotional well-being. My sister and I have names that aren't very common, but they aren't bizzare! ( My name is Hinata, Hina for short, and My sisters name is Ayame, pronounced A-ya-may, Aya for short, both are Japanese names which suit us since we're part Japanese ) But really, names these days! What do you think on this crazy name topic?

My 4 month old hates his carseat! I just do not understand what it is. I have checked it over and over to make sure nothing is hurting him or scratching him. Did you baby ever go through this? Did they get over it. My husband and I were thinking of going out and buying a new seat to see if he will do better in that one. He just cries and cries and cries, sometimes to the point of screaming. We have a LONG trip ahead of us, do any of you have any suggestions? PLEASE!

My daughter just turned 2. She was a late walker (started at 18 months). Her left foot turns out(not alot, but enough to be noticed) and is bowed at the ankle. It looks like it can break @ anytime. It's not causing her any pain. I was concerned when she started walking and asked my dr. She said is was "ducked" and she should grow out of it. I'm concerned it's something more serious. It's been almost 7 months. She can't run that good and waddles when she runs or walks. I'm wondering if she needs a brace. Did anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it? What is this condition called? Do you know anyone that has had this problem? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The kid (age 6?) across the street likes to come over almost everyday to play with my daughter (8) and step-son (17 & disabled).

I don't mind that. But he is just so irritating. He asks 50 million questions, and if you are having an adult conversation with someone or speaking to someone else he will but his nose in.

We also have specific rules for our kids. #1- We want them to stay in the yard at all times. #2 - No riding their bike on the lawn. #3 - Due to problems with the teenage punk behind us we no longer allow them to play in the back-yard unless there is an adult present (this is a WHOLE other topic). And #4 - NO playing in the garage or around vehicles.

He is always talking my kids into leaving the yard. I always catch him riding his bike on our lawn. And just today I caught him about 5 times in my garage with his bike, around my car! And the last time I flipped and yelled at him.

He just bothers me and my hubby so freakin much. What should we do?

okay i just asked how to stop it but i really didnt get the response i needed. Shes 7 years old and chews on her tongue especially when shes concentrating. She started doing at about age 1. But what i didnt mention is that i thought she would grow out of it thats why i left it alone for so long. but it has gotten worse. She now does it more constantly and now she even tries to speak while doing it. It has gotten substantially worse instead of better. I need advice on how to try to stop it. thanx for any help.

I am very careful about what food I give my 11 month old daughter... i read the labels on EVERYTHING. Not wanting her to have sugar or too much other crap (corn syrup, other gross additives). My sitter always says something along the lines of "when she's older she's going to want it and then get sick because she's not used to it" or "she's so skinny, she needs all the fat she can get" (which is true, she is small for her age, but I want to fatten her up with nutritious stuff not crap) or "she's going to be allergic to it if you don't start her on it soon". I know most of this is b.s., but it's a very close relationship and I don't want to damage it. My daughter loves going there and I love having her there but I don't like her nutrion ideas. Oh and her husband and her 10yr old are very overweight... she realizes it but aparantly doesn't understand the correlation between their junk food habits and their obesity.

Thanks for any advice!!
